The first movie I saw in France was the Brothers Grimm that I've been wanting to see for a long time!
Although I thought about Walence & Gommet and this film for a long time in the afternoon, I finally decided to watch this, because of course terry gilliame's film must be watched. . . In my mind, it's a model of gorgeous movies. . .

I went to an art theater, not buying tickets in advance, but buying them before the show. And it's a screening of the small room. At 7 o'clock in the evening, there are more than 20 people.
The chairs in the room are comfortable. Sitting is not tiring at all, and the angle is good. The sound effects and screen are not state of the art but they are comfortable to listen to.

Movies are also nice. I can't say anything about this terry who is becoming more and more commercial now. After all, it is not easy for him now, and his career is not going well. Although I read the comments before I came here, but for terry's film, what is the comment, you have to watch it yourself. Those who like it like it, just watch it.
Although it is much worse than his previous films in terms of conception and level, it is already in place as a pure entertainment film. From celebrities to funny to scary to special effects to gorgeous, everything is available, you can find anything you want to see. All in all, it's a movie worth seeing in theaters.

ps, the film greatly satirizes the French. Ha ha. . . . The French officer. . . Funny, the raw meat on the face, "a point", is an irony that the French like to eat bloody "blue" meat. No wonder the French critics didn't like it. . . But MS America has a worse reputation among critics? hehe. . . Too serious. . . The movie is good

The Brothers Grimm quotes

  • Hidlick: How comes he gets to do the monsters, I end up playin' the girlie ghosts?

Will Grimm: Because you, my friend, have talent. You've got range.

Bunst: And what do I have, Will?

Will Grimm: You, my handsome friend, you have heart.

Jacob Grimm: And you, Will, have enough bullshit to fill the Palace of Versailles.

  • Woodsman: Angelika, look. You see that window, way, way up high? Many centuries ago, that's where the Queen lived. She was treasured by all of Europe, famed for her incredible beauty, but also vain and selfish. Her world was her own reflection. It was on the Queen's wedding day that the plague arrived. The King was the first to die. His bride built a tower. She locked herself away, safe from the horrors below. But what she forgot, was that plague is carried on the winds. When she first fell sick, and her gorgeous flesh began to rot away, they say you could hear her screams across the oceans. My princess isn't afraid, is she? It's just an old story. Papa's here to protect you.
