Joyful

I have to admire the 64-year animation production level. It is really not a sense of violation for real people to enter the world of fairy tales. Although the clarity is not good, there is a classic feeling of old movies when I watch it now. The costumes of the movie are very beautiful. I really like Mary's dress. The scene is full of fairy tales. It is indeed a fairy tale for children and adults.

When I first watched it, the barrage drifted by and I watched "The Big Dreamer" before watching this one. I watched it a little bit that day and didn't watch it again. When I had time to watch a few days later, I thought I would watch "The Big Dreamer" first. "As a result, the barrage floated by saying that I was watching "Happy in the World" before watching...

Anyway, look at it today.

The child’s mother has a really good personality, which is in contrast to the servant’s arrogance. She helped me fix the vase that was bombarded and shaken by the captain on time. It was a pleasant surprise. Forgive me for the fuss, and I think the film expression is very interesting.

Mary is as beautiful as ever. In "The Sound of Music", she played with seven small notes. The time I watched that movie was when I just entered the pit of musicals. At that time, I was not very comfortable with the poor clarity of station b musicals, so I found them. A lot of music, singing and dancing movies are so satisfying, and I immediately fell in love with this kind of movies. The only thing in "Happy Man" that didn't give me much highlight should be the music, and the plot is not very fulfilling. Maybe the focus is on expressing joy.

It's really joyful. Mary's luggage, cleaning the room, jumping into the chalk drawing to ride the carousel, drinking tea in the air, telling jokes and laughing, dancing on the chimney, etc. These interesting things are something I didn't have in my childhood. Or yes, I have forgotten, but now I can only marvel and admire.

Although Dad and the directors in the bank are staid and uninteresting, they are also a group of lovely people in this movie. What I did not expect is that after Dad messed up the matter, the directors gave him the punishment is to take off his chest. Flower, poke a hole in the hat, and this seems to be a great shame.

Bert is too funny. Dancing with penguins, dancing with chimney sweeps, living wantonly, is a communicator of happiness, although silly and stupid, but really understand the true meaning of life.

Watch this movie in the sloppy days and have fun! I want to watch the second one too!

Mary Poppins quotes

  • Horseman: [saluting] View halloo!

Horse: [also saluting] Oh, yes, definitely. A view halloo.

    Fox: View halloo?

[the horseman blows his bugle and the others pursue the fox]

Fox: Faith and begora, 'tis them Redcoats again!

  • Jane: Oh, Bert, we're so frightened.

Bert: Now, now, don't take on so. Bert will take care of you. Like I was your father. Now, who's after you?

    Jane: Father is.

    Bert: What?

Michael: He brought us to see his bank.

Jane: I don't know what we did, but it must have been something dreadful.

Michael: He sent the police after us, and the army, and everything.

    Jane: Michael, don't exaggerate.

Bert: Well now, there must be some mistake. Your dad's a fine gentleman and he loves you.

Jane: I don't think so. You should have seen the look on his face.

Michael: He doesn't like us at all.

Bert: Well now, that don't seem likely, does it?

    Jane: It's true.

Bert: Let's sit down. You know, begging your pardon, but the one my heart goes out to is your father. There he is, in that cold heartless bank day after day, hammed in by mounds of cold heartless money. I don't like to see any living thing caged up.

    Jane: Father in a cage?

Bert: They makes cages of all sizes and shapes, you know. Bank-shaped, some of them, carpets and all.

Jane: Father's not in trouble. We are.

Bert: Oh. Sure about that, are you? Look at it this way. You've got your mother to look after you and Mary Poppins and Constable Jones and me. Who looks after your father? Tell me that. When something terrible happens, what does he do? Fends for himself, he does. Who does he tell about it? No one. Don't blab his troubles at home. He just pushes on at his job, uncomplaining and alone and silent.

    Michael: He's not very silent.

Jane: Michael, be quiet. Bert, do you think father really needs our help?

Bert: Well, it's not my place to say. I only observe that a father can always do with a bit of help. Come on, I'll take you home.
