"When the Wind Blows"

I like Raymond Briggs very much. There are two of his picture books at home. The characters are naive and the style of painting is unique and strange. I like it very much.
But the movie was unexpectedly bad.
The plot is very bland, but this is also the characteristic of this movie. It is always an old couple talking, and no other characters appear.
The point is, this film is too didactic, satirizing government and war, and is a political satire.

It is similar to "1984", but without his shock, it is only expressed in cartoons, and the impact is much smaller.

There are a few scenes in the film that are extremely beautiful. The old woman blows the dandelion, and the beautiful memories of her youth appear in a trance...
