Just brush your face (brief review, Triple Frontier)

I wasted more than two hours in the first high-scoring and low-performance film of the year, especially that Ben Affleck, who was always sluggish and dull, was simply the biggest "alternative highlight" of the film. Therefore, I have decided that in the future, as long as it is this man's work, it will be ignored. It is really unbearable.

American movie "Three Frontiers"

Type of work: crime

Main cast: Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, Pedro Pascal

Story overview: Five retired special forces teamed up to steal the drug lord's treasure (money), but after they succeeded, they led to a series of "contradictory" events

Release Date: March 13, 2019 in the United States

To be honest, audiences/critics gave this film a good score, and it was at an upper-middle level. However, in the author's opinion, this score is too high, where is the high? Next, analyze it slowly.

First of all, the actor's performance is not satisfactory, and the high score is impossible to talk about!

Find two typical, talk about

Ben Affleck, this man's acting talent has been robbed by his brother (Casey Affleck) and ex-wife (Jennifer Garner), and he plays the same thing, no matter what kind of role he plays, no matter what kind of situation he plays, he is a "crazy guy" The face, forget it, don't act, I will give you a mask in the future, pretend to be "Batman", and entertain yourself.

Charlie Hunnam, he is in a completely different situation from the former. He can be both literary and martial (literary and action scenes are outstanding), but unfortunately he is trapped in the scriptwriter/director's requirements/positioning for the role, and he is abruptly led astray. Furthermore, the central character of the play is Tom, played by Ben. His performance determines the final direction of the work. As a result, he strayed and the others fell into the pit.

Secondly, the content of the story is unsatisfactory, with high scores, it is difficult to convince the public!

The opening of this film is quite attractive. It took a route of "Seven Heroes and Kouzhi" + "Eleven Arhats", and with a rallying call, heroes from all walks of life rose up, but this thing is "parrot learning", "Dong Shi Xiao frowns", gimmicks That's it.

Afterwards, the sense of rhythm turned sharply down, with a slow and lazy foreshadowing, locking in the target (drug lord), careful layout (reconnaissance), making a plan (how to advance? How to retreat?), and starting to do it (action in progress)... After going around this circle, I completely lost the sense of expectation for the second half of the film, but seriously, what else is worth watching in the second half other than "South American scenery"? Talk about "human nature", say "human heart"? There are, but they are all too superficial. Coupled with Ben's poor performance, those who have the courage and perseverance to continue watching are super warriors.

After a foolish operation of "the second monk can't figure it out", the film finally entered the focus stage, that is, after the success (with money), the team members began to die, there were many incidents, the hearts were scattered, and the wonderful operation was launched. Now, after throwing money, burning money, throwing money, and a wave of IQ worrying and unforgettable actions, Tom finally got a headshot (goodbye to the worst protagonist)... At the same time, the work was completely "cow into the sea", and the scene was over. Where to stay where it is cool.

Finally, the connotation shows innuendo, high scores, and I don't know what to say!

In the second half of the film, it seems to be "escape with money", but in fact it is "testing people's hearts". (Take a little taste and stop, and imitate it)

All in all, one word, "desire". How to solve it?

1. The desire for money is the main clue of the film, and it is the snare that leads people to fall into sin

2. Desire for power (leadership), trying to control everything, self-centered, Tom is the spokesperson

These two points are actually very interesting, but unfortunately the director was so eager to call it quits, all previous achievements were wasted, and such an interesting theme was wasted.

Tired into a dog...finally

Screenwriter ★★★☆☆ (In terms of plot conception, there is no novelty; in terms of story progression, there is no sincerity)

Director★☆☆☆☆

Actor ★★★☆☆ (Ben's acting skills are speechless, and he is the default candidate for Golden Sour Plum every year; as for the others, they can be worth the ticket price)

Plot ☆☆☆☆ (I personally feel very boring, this kind of story, this kind of routine, has been used in many movies, and if you use it again, isn't it boring to ask yourself)

Visual effects ★★★★☆ (the second half, the scenery is infinitely good)

Sound ★★★★☆ (heavy metal soundtrack, it's my dish)

Recommendation ★☆☆☆☆

Retainment Officer: [at the podium] I have the honor today to introduce you to Retired Captain William Miller. He's been everywhere in the world you all wanna go, and a bunch of places you don't. I've asked him to come and talk to you all today at this important crossroad in your careers. I'm gonna step out so this conversation can be frank and to the point.

William 'Ironhead' Miller: About five years ago, when I was on leave... I found myself standing in the middle of the cereal aisle at the Publix... with my arm around some guy's throat. I was squeezing so hard he pissed himself. My fiance at the time had to climb on my back just so I didn't actually kill the guy. Do you know why I was doing this? Because he hadn't moved his cart when I asked.

William 'Ironhead' Miller: I was the best of the best, able to shut down, control, manipulate; all basic human instincts towards one goal: The completion of my mission. But the effects of committing extreme violence on other human beings are biological and physiological. That's the price of being a warrior.
