I didn't feel right when I saw this movie even less than seven points. The narrative rhythm of the film language of the whole film is relatively stable, the logic is clear, the theme is not too deep, not too dark, but fortunately it is a little warm. It is because there is no particularly outstanding point, so I can't get a high score, but this execution ability still needs to be affirmed, right?
1, Suspense. The suspense part is pretty good, and the sense of NPC in the game is just right from many angles. Speaking of Truman's world similar to his, I always feel that there is no such thing at all. The two are just similar in appearance. The characteristic of Truman is that everyone in it knows it is fake and is acting; the NPC in this show is not Knowing that he is fake, all dialogues show that from the perspective of NPC, the male protagonist is insane, and here is a level deeper than Truman: Truman is the conscious mask of human society, and here is another philosophical question , the meaning of truth itself. Of course, there is no time to discuss it too deeply, which is a small failure.
2, plot. This aspect is also very stable. The overall logic line of the story is that the father develops, first establishes a life path, and then uses machine learning to practice decision-making (of course, the plot requires us to assume that the child's father and mother, who are construction workers, agree to buy a supercomputer for him...Khan , we will not entangle), and what is going on with machine learning, which essentially imitates the multi-layer neuron structure, and allows the machine to reverse the reference of the correct answer by running the program to form a decision tree (currently it is still far from forming true consciousness, the plot It needs to be ignored) to judge new events, that is to say, it is necessary to continuously learn the reference, and the boy's father has died, and he can't actually learn, so it can only be said that it is to learn the choice of the father retained in the boy's heart. It seems that the boy is waiting for the choice of this virtual father. In fact, the NPC's obstruction of the male protagonist and the final choice of the male protagonist are the boy's own mental journey.
This film is aimed at a relatively moderate idea (this will be discussed later), so the plot ends here, and the computer genius struggles in his mind and finally kills the tyrannical stepfather and finds a story of peace of mind.
3, intention. What I mainly want to complain about is the idea. The whole film is not too high-grade because the idea is really shallow. The language of the film expresses the suspense of the blurred boundary between real and unreal. Did the three-year-old find "peace" after slashing his drunk stepfather with a fish knife? Are you kidding me? He does not speak in the detention center (rejects the real world), and is reunited with his father in the virtual world (no mother), what a perverted mental state! Will the boy succeed in a normal social life in the real world with his mother in the future? Tranquility hammer either. . . . Of course, I say this because the film language at the end of the film completely separates the real and the virtual. No more confusion will reduce the discussion of what "real" is. If there is no such film language, we can consider the virtual from a philosophical point of view. The world is also a kind of reality, and the tranquility of father and son has a meaning to be discussed.
Whenever discussing real/virtual topics, it is necessary to go up the grade, and the two have never been clearly separated, such as
4. Details. To say that the details are too adult for a thirteen-year-old child creator, I don’t think it’s a big problem. One is for the feeling of watching the movie, and the other is that since the whole structure is based on machine learning, it jumps out of various settings. Not impossible. What I don't like is the suspense of the heroine, which makes her seem uneasy and kind, but in fact, it's better to be useless. Another big weakness of this show is that many details are useless in rendering the theme, and exist only for the development of the story.
For example: There is an old man in the bar who always sits in a fixed position to drink. The camera is shown to him many times. Finally, the male protagonist sits in his seat and drinks the same wine. It seems to me that he is very similar to the male protagonist. A certain kind of virtual ending, combined with the opening plot, is very reminiscent of Hemingway, but in fact the film does not continue to discuss. The plot setting of the coquettish couger is mainly to provide the male protagonist with a source of income, to find a cat game, and the son to create obstacles and block these three functions, which are meaningless, but only necessary for the development direction of the plot. In all fairness, each character has achieved "much like NPC", and they all have a cool label flavor with a strong sense of game, but their "emptiness" is a reflection of the lack of screenwriter ability.
But overall it's safe. The score shouldn't be too low.
