The film "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children", translated as "The Advent of the Son", continued the FFVII storyline. I watched a version with traditional subtitles, which professionally introduced the background and characters of the story, which made me, who has never played FF7, understand what the movie is going to tell us.
While I can't say enough about what the film is about, I can comment on other aspects of it. Personally, I like the style of cartoon rendering more and more, but I believe that no one can resist the near-perfect picture of "FFAC". It can be regarded as the evolution and editing of CG in FFX (PS2) games. A large number of fighting scenes and the use of motorcycle chase shots are skillful and refreshing, and the stars, water, flowers and the hair of the characters are all very detailed. Compared with the previous failed "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within", there are not many surprises in the improvement of the picture, but the deepening of the theme is the highlight of success. I believe that a large number of FF fans will not make this "FFAC" thankless again. The sales of 420,000 sets in the first week proves its strength. Pure technology will not lead to excellent works, this is the same in games or movies.
Others, some interesting plots gave me some impression: Bahamut violently appeared and was besieged by everyone, and finally the N-segment jump fully reflected the spirit of collectivism, and Cloud jumped really high. The white-haired trio seems to be strong and weak at heart, and it seems that they exist only to pave the way for the plot to lead to Sephiroth. The funny behavior of Shinra employees is a constant joke, especially when the red-haired rude keeps attacking his accomplices, he can't help laughing out loud. The FF standard Victory music became the ringtone, well, looking for MIDI to change it to my cell phone. Aerith, Cloud and Tifa are simply a standard love triangle, material VS spirit, so it's no wonder that Cloud has a hard time choosing.
A little wordy, if you want to understand this movie in depth, just like me, take a tutorial on the great game "Final Fantasy 7".
