Zhuyu's disappointing adaptation in the previous

The unqualified masterpiece remake is disappointing compared to Winona's version

First of all, the film uses a two-line narrative method to tell the story. Although it is novel, it is not suitable for storytelling. The passage of time is almost not reflected in the film. The four sisters have almost no changes and many of them have been exchanged and interspersed with characters. If you haven't read the original work, I think It should be easy for many people to confuse the relationship between the roles.

Secondly, the plot changes are unreasonable. At the beginning of the movie, the characters jo and Friedrich were not introduced. They did not know what the relationship was. The quarrel occurred inexplicably until the end, the feelings suddenly heated up and it was confusing. Originally expecting Laurie and Jo's emotional scene did not portray Laurie's confession and Jo's refusal, it feels like a stalemate passed in a quarrel. Jo’s feelings for Laurie are not clear enough, Laurie and Amy’s development, and there is no foreshadowing. Jo’s conversation with her mother mentioned that she will accept Laurie’s marriage proposal. Laurie also knows her feelings for Jo. Amy also understands Laurie’s feelings for her sister, which leads to Amy in the end. It seemed that all three of them were surprised and dissatisfied with Lauri. The ending was forcibly reunited so that Jo and Friedrich reunited at the speed of light in less than two minutes. Joining Jo's dialogue with the boss of the newspaper office, the rigid sublimation, the theme is elevated, and there is no convincing power.

In the end, the casting of the film was unsatisfactory. The four characters were not three-dimensional enough. The big sister meg was originally diligent and thrifty. The family did not reflect the third sister, Beth. There is no feeling that it is ignorant but deliberate. Moreover, the sudden change in Amy's later personality is unconvincing.

In general, as a new adaptation of Little Women, the film advances with the times, adding reflections on women's issues in the era, but it does not show the charm of the original work, and is slightly eclipsed compared with the previous work.

Supplement: After reviewing the original work, I found that the 19th edition is indeed closer to the original work, with a more complete plot, and the character lines closer to the book. But I still think that the new two-line narrative method is not suitable for telling the experience and development of the four people in the original book over the past ten years, which affects the audience's experience of Joe and Laurie's emotional transformation.

Sweet tea court dress porn comes with chicken coop melee. I knew that the adaptation was a foolish move from the very beginning. The whole film is not as interesting as Lady Bird, and Greta's talents can't get out of the editing room. What kind of two-line editing in cold and warm colors, the raw materials are still doing nothing, words and deeds, and "love" the older girl of the machine. Youth, sleazy shoes, Midsommar's scheming, Hermione passers-by

looks great. Sweet tea is so beautiful that I don't want him to grow up and grow old! And the family of four sisters is really touching, although there were quarrels and anger during the period. Two-line narrative, the reality and the past, alternating cool and warm tones. Photography, costumes, acting are all good.

Little Women quotes

  • Jo March: If she had died it would've been my fault.

Marmee March: She will be fine, the doctor said he didn't even think she'd catch cold.

Jo March: What is wrong with me? I've made so many resolutions and written sad notes and cried over my sins, but it just doesn't seem to help. When I get in a passion I get so savage I could hurt anyone and I'd enjoy it.

Marmee March: You remind me of myself.

Jo March: But you're never angry.

Marmee March: I'm angry nearly every day of my life.

    Jo March: You are?

Marmee March: I'm not patient by nature, but with nearly forty years of effort I'm learning to not let it get the better of me.

Jo March: I'll do the same, then.

Marmee March: I hope you'll do a great deal better than me. There are some natures too noble to curb and too lofty to bend.

  • Beth March: Is there any news? What does she say?

Jo March: She writes that Laurie is there... I'm glad he's with her, he won't respond to any of my letters.

Beth March: Do you miss him?

Jo March: [Tearing up] I miss everything.

    Beth March: I know.
