In the short film, the characters have no dialogue, and the music plays an important role in reflecting the emotions of the characters and showing the "Chinese flavor". In the opening part of the film, when Disney and Pixar animation studios appeared, the traditional Chinese national instrument pipa and the sound effects of the protagonist's face and face have already appeared. Then the erhu occupied the main voice, and the picture was a few scenes of the mother making buns in the middle and small scenes. The five shots were neatly cut, and the harmony of warm colors combined the mother's proficiency in making buns and the warmth of the family. The seductive manifestation with the buns is just right. When "Baby Bao" appeared, the flute solo and the cheerful folk music ensemble were used here to reflect the mother's surprise and the happiness and joy of their parent-child life after Bao Bao Bao appeared. Later, Bao Baobao gradually grew up, and the relationship between mother and child became different. Bao Baobao closed the door to his mother fiercely. Here, a big drum was used to express the "bang" of the closing. When Bao Baobao packed up his luggage and was about to leave the house with his girlfriend, the piano was used here to express the mother's reluctance and sadness. Then the two people's push-pull and tearing folk music ensemble sounded again, and the music rhythm gradually accelerated, pushing the short film to a climax. Until the mother put the baby in her mouth and swallowed it, the music stopped abruptly, and only the mother's cry remained.

The short film is also very sophisticated in terms of props and costumes. The clothes of the protagonist, the lanterns on the street, and the characters of blessing at home are all filled with Chinese local elements. The three appearances of Char Siu Bao also represent three different stages of the mother-child relationship.
