There are many aspects to the shaping of suspense in "Following". Narrative, which adds complexity to viewing by disrupting the narrative structure; music, a score that creates anxiety and tension, complements the picture; camera, unstable and shaky footage creates an uneasy atmosphere; details, the film has a large number of objects shooting.
The suspenseful performance of the film is quite in place, delicate and precise. Although it is director Nolan's debut, it can be seen that the director's profound skills, whether it is script, photography, music and other elements are quite good.
