It is often said that time heals everything. When others are sad, we always feel self-righteous and try our best to comfort them; But the feelings, with the different personalities and experiences, are actually very different, even if it is a brother and sister, a mother and a daughter, and a family. Perhaps feeling the pain is also proof that everyone is unique in the world.
In one episode, mother Ruth takes her daughter Claire to visit Ruth's sister to improve the relationship between mother and daughter. Ruth's sister and her daughter do their best to keep them happy, away from widowhood and fatherhood. Ruth's sister used her divorce as a metaphor for Ruth's widowhood, believing that the two were separated. But Ruth retorted, this is different, you can still meet again if you want, your daughter still has a father, but I can only look at the picture frame, my daughter no longer has her father. While playing the game, Claire noticed her mother ruth's grief, and instead of relieving her grief, she tenderly chose to agree. Because it was really out of tune with Ruth's sister's family, they finally fled early in the morning.
Funeral is for the people who are living. Funerals are for the living, and that's what I understand the most about the whole show. People die in every episode, and no matter what type of funeral the relatives choose, they are telling them of their attitude, whether it is reluctance, life and death, or indifference. Those who are still alive may come out one day, but before that, no one can fill the void in their hearts, and what others can do is respect.
Respecting the pain of others is also respecting the life you choose.
