Watching this movie is for Aunt Mei. I love Aunt Mei deeply, and the subject matter is comedy, so I should be very happy. When Aunt Mei acted in this movie, she said that she was attracted by Jenkins' confidence and vitality. And her songs convey consolation to the soldiers.
But after watching this movie, this woman is really worthy of admiration! And rich really can do whatever she wants~ A woman with a dream of music leaves her homeland, leaves the shelter of her parents, and insists on what she insists on. Unfortunately, marriage brings her illness and even ruins her dream. This blow is not a big deal! After inheriting the will, she still insisted, maybe she knew everything, she had no talent, but she had nothing to lose, so why not give it a try~ At least she insisted on her dream, didn't she? But it is really convenient to have money. Her husband helps her with everything, she can choose a pianist, and she can make records. Everyone deceives her, takes advantage of her, and falls for her generosity, but she is not fulfilling herself. The dream, some people may say, is just a dream of nothingness, deceived by everyone, so what? If you are not happy, you will be fine, and you will not endanger the society. You can spend your money as you like~
But after singing at Carnegie Hall, everything came to the surface, and the dream bubble was burst. There was a moving little detail. Mrs. Stark still wants to praise her for her righteousness. There are too few people who give help in the snow! When the lie was pierced, all the good things didn't exist, which directly led to Jenkins's illness. The unfortunate marriage and the collapse of the dream completely overwhelmed this woman. The Sinclair she loved was just a weaving dream, and it was still alive until she died. Singing at Carnegie Hall and dying thinking of a wonderful voice, how lucky, how unfortunate!
Some people say I can't sing, but no one can say I don't sing!
Aunt May's acting is really good!
