I have been playing a man who loves, hates, and is very emotional. It never seemed to be forbearance or lightheartedness.
To those later life, rain or shine.
From the first shot, the picture began to use the dim yellow and greenish peculiar to the United States. Asphalt roads, palm trees, at a high-spirited age, Zach skates alone, does street painting, and surfs. Not smart sister, lethargic father, good-looking and cute nephew Cody, beautiful girlfriend, and a good looking oil Gabe.
It has all the preferences and character settings that a male protagonist with artistic talent and underappreciation should have (in fact, it is not underappreciated).
It took an hour and a half to watch the movie, and I have no feelings for love. Let’s write a few memorable points.
1 Parents may not always be the ones who love their children the most
The elder sister who was abandoned by the man has a cute oil bottle, but the elder sister is not smart. I don’t know if it’s for money or love. Except for working hours, I spend almost all my time with a man, because it is very unfeminine, so I do not know if it’s for money or love. The bottle stays with Zach all day long. This uncle is very like a father. The dialogue between the two is always immersed in an atmosphere that is almost innocence and mutual respect. Speaking of which, I actually think that the small drag oil bottle is to some extent an expressor of some true feelings deep in Zach's heart
"You are my father?
"It's not because your mother and I are siblings, so I'm your uncle.
"I wish you were my dad"
Maybe Zach also wants to be the father of a small oil bottle to some extent, otherwise no one will devote time, energy, patience and love to a little life that was not born by himself.
When Zach broke up with her boyfriend, the little oil bottle said
"Will shaun appear again?
"He's gone, people need to leave"
"Why do people need to leave"
"Adult thing"
It was only after I became an adult that I realized that a question like "Why do people need to leave?" is an emotional question. It seems naive and can easily be answered by thinking, but at some critical moment, you suddenly want to ask this question, Maybe most people live their whole lives as reckless and enthusiastic children.
Another actor in the film said, "Children are for pampering"
The love of the two male protagonists for their children is more obvious than that of their elder sisters.
2 You have to talk about love with someone who understands love
Maybe a bit extreme, but I stubbornly believe that love is a kind of spirit that needs to be built on material life.
It's hard for people who have been missing material to say "I need xxx"
In the movie, the Zach siblings contrast with the Shaun brothers.
Male protagonist: The dream that cannot be sought, the street spray paint that has been wiped away, the memory washed away by the waves, the awkward position with his girlfriend, each of which cannot be said.
Male lead and sister: Abandoned by men, the current straight male cancer, ignorance and hatred of homosexuality. The only plausible explanation for these events is the "I'm fine with the status quo" mentality.
They don't believe that tomorrow will be better because there is no love.
Shaun on the other side: You should go after your dreams, you should express what you need, and children should be spoiled.
Shaun brother (zach oil) "Are we still good brothers? I'm asking seriously?"
They believe it will be better because they have the money to have the experience and the ability to make tomorrow more loving.
3 You are not really happy
After watching this movie, I remembered that I have an unspeakable little wish: I hope someone can sing "You Are Not Really Happy" for me. Kitsch and grandiose wish, but thinking about that scene, how good to cry.
Maybe there will still be stumbling and missing things in the future, but give love a little strength, let's go to those who can occasionally see the rainbow in the future regardless of rain or shine.
