The name "Knife Out of the Sheath" made me mistakenly thought it was a domestic killer film, so I flashed the name without any interest. Then I was curious to see recommendations from multiple friends.
It wasn't until the end that I felt that the name was well translated and very "posted".
This movie does not have any special effects, and there is no such thing as a big bang scene that is commonly used to make people feel like "changing fares". Even the reasoning part is not too difficult to guess, it's just "delicate". This arrangement is quite emboldened and arrogant, the subtext is "no need"
It really doesn’t need those, because it’s easy to bring people in, and the whole process has a strong sense of presence. It almost feels like sitting in a stage scene of a drama—not even offstage.
Although the venue for most of the plot is small, it doesn't make people feel boring at all. Only relying on the advancement of the camera and the rhythm of the story firmly stuck to the eyes.
Moreover, there is very little "nonsense" in the lines. Although it is a suspense film, it does not burn brains. There is no need for the audience to concentrate, lest they miss something, to spend their brains watching the movie in this state of being on the verge of an enemy.
It is as if there is an accomplished magician behind the entire screen. He revealed his hole cards early, and he did not deceive you. But what you see may be more than what you see.
In addition to the interlocking of the layout itself, the inking of the characters is also very clever.
At first glance, the settings and layouts seem to be very old-fashioned, and even everyone's personality is standard as a sample. However, such a rigid setting itself is also a kind of obscurity, as an essential element of satirical mime.
Therefore, it will still make people smile knowingly: the unfolding like a human nature exhibition hall is reasonable, and it is not unexpected. In the voiceover, I heard the magician's chuckle at the world, so you laughed clearly.
And the most interesting is a theme that magnifies the ugliness of reality, and a puzzle sugar bowl that exudes distortion.
But there is one that is relatively simple. The most toddler story ending.
Give people an enjoyable movie-watching experience from point to point.
Happy hunting.
