RONIN is a classic action thriller, directed by American John Frankheimer, starring the famous American movie star Robert De Niro and the famous French movie star Jean Reno. The film began to be released in Europe and the United States in the fall of 1998. Although the box office is not good, it is generally well received. It is a classic blockbuster in the minds of most Chinese audiences. The plot depicts five secret teams consisting of veterans of multinational special forces and former agents of intelligence agencies applying for an ambush mission to seize a mysterious suitcase for the employer. The whole film is two hours long, but the narrative is tight, the plot is ups and downs, and the action scenes are intense and exciting. The filming and setting of the film are also very clever, the dilapidated French Parisian bistro (group joint) - the empty suburban warehouse (posting tasks and preparations) - the suburban river at night (black market weapons trading) - luxury hotels in Nice, France and Location (field visit before ambush) --Narrow alleys of Nice City (ambush gun battle and car chase) - Huge ancient arena (connected by traitors and buyers) - Private villa on the mountain (Healing and Legend of the Lordless Warrior)- -Paris city street (reverse car chase)-big theater and outer street for figure skating performances (the last three fights)-cafes and current news (the end of the song). These main scenic spots are matched with light main colors, which not only promote the in-depth development of the plot, but also more vividly portray the characters of the protagonist. These former elites of the military and intelligence agencies became "ronin" (unowned warriors) after the Cold War. Although all possess unique skills, they had to give up their beliefs and principles in order to survive.

1. The biggest protagonist: Sam Sam (played by Robert De Niro), a former American CIA agent (actually an undercover agent), the planner of the ambush, close-minded, calm, and experienced. 2. The protagonist: Vincent Vincent (played by Jean Renault), a former French agent, is responsible for the preparation of the team's weapons and equipment, and participates in the ambush and the whereabouts of the box with Sam's partner. The two saved each other's lives in the fight against the enemy. 3. Protagonist: Deirdre Deirdre (Natasha McEhorn), the initiator of the ambush team, employed by Seamus. 4. Gregor Gregor (Strand Skarsgard), a German veteran, an electronic expert in the ambush team, and a cunning traitor, was killed while dealing with the Russians. 5. Larry Larry (played by Skip Sudoff), a veteran, the driver of the ambush team. 6. Seamus Seamus (Jonathan Price), Irish reactionary, the boss behind the ambush team. He is also Sam's true target in this operation. 7. Mikhi (Fyodor Atkin), a wealthy Russian businessman and buyer of mysterious boxes. ......

Robert De Niro is one of my favorite movie stars. In this film, he is the absolute protagonist, and his superb acting skills and aura add to the film a lot. In addition, other actors also performed very well, and the background is not small: the second protagonist Jean Renault is also a well-known movie star loved by the audience. Small supporting role: Katarina Witt, the figure skater's actor, is a true two-time Olympic champion and four-time world champion.
