In the trailer, "Special Forces 2" also has a future sci-fi posture, but after watching the complete movie, you will find that all the exciting parts are already in the trailer. The opening assault was a simple gun battle. The special team members took the gun and fired a few bullets easily. The director cooperated with a few close-up shots and then just perfunctory. The subsequent sneak attack section had a rare explosion scene, but the editing was chaotic, giving people a sense of dizziness. And then the underground prison, known as the strongest, was simply shabby. It was a simple basement at all. Bai Youling danced the katana and rescued the commander easily. The final battle is a re-enactment of "The Expendables". A few scribbled scenes in the tunnel, coupled with a few shots of Dashi Johnson's armed tank, saved the earth's crisis so easily. The whole movie is completely reduced from sci-fi to action. Even the pure action part of the movie has the principle of not giving the panoramic view with close-ups, and dragging as far as possible if the fist show can be extended. It can be said that the only surprise in the movie is the Snow Mountain Ninja War. Especially the scene of a duel in the air with the help of 3D technology is shocking and thrilling, but it is a pity that there are few bright spots like this in the whole film.
If the tightness of the scene can be used as an excuse for the demanding budget of the producer, then the messy and illogical story is a problem for the director and screenwriter. In order to make up for the shortcomings in production, the film deliberately collaged many action segments to meet the visual needs of the audience. The opening scene is similar to the assault operations and air force bombing of the war film, and the middle part also effectively imitates the spy battle bridge of "Mission Impossible 4" and the actual combat-based ninja swordsmanship, but the terrible plot did not turn the story collage into a Buddha jumping over the wall. It became a hodgepodge. The transition of the film is not driven by pictures, but by rigid narration. For example, in the scene where Snake Eye appeared, there was no picture depiction, just let the master ninja read the story in one breath, and the fight with Snake Eye and the cousin ended hastily. There are many logical gaps in the film's story. Like Bai Youling's easy rebellion, the Tiger Ba trio who survived by chance can return home easily. Such loopholes really ignore the audience's IQ.
There are many three-dimensional characters in the first part, but in this sequel, the Duke suddenly died. Johnson, who plays the leading role, still has a sense of presence, but the other two special forces members are too much. Including a few villains, they just hurriedly walked through the scene, playing soy sauce, while the most dramatic Bai You Ling was full of expressions. On the contrary, Bruce Willis, who appeared in a friendly cameo, is full of aura. In just a few scenes, he is both humorous and tough. It is a pity that he still hasn't saved this semi-finished product.
The failure of "Special Forces 2" lies in the preliminary preparations. Under the visual bombardment of the first movie, the budget for the production of the sequel was cut. The plot made Channing Tatum in the fire get a lunch box early, which is enough to prove that Paramount does not pay attention to the sequel. Maybe On their production table, this is simply a bad job of making money.
