It seems that the happiness in life lies in standing in line and finding the right person

My movie-watching habits may not be praised. I always watch my favorite movies several times, and I never get tired of it. About A Boy is one of those movies that I watched repeatedly. I don’t remember when I watched it for the first time, I just remembered to watch it on TV, because I didn’t see the beginning, so I searched the Internet and prepared to add the beginning.
From a certain point of view, the main characters in the play are not smart people, it can be said that they are stupid. The boy’s mother looks weird to most people, and her career is a bit marginal. Who can tell what kind of job a music consultant is? I really don’t know how she managed to survive. She was plagued by depression and was a single mother dragging her children. It is better to say that she needs to be taken care of rather than taking care of her own children. The character played by Hugh Grant is simply an EQ incompetent. At the age of 38, but still living in the lush years, thinking that he is forever young. Convinced that he is an isolated island and feel complacent, but he does not realize that it is difficult for a person like him who lacks a sense of responsibility not to become an isolated island. The protagonist of the story, not to mention the little boy, is also weird to be dressed up by his strange mother, and because of his mother, he obviously lived in the last century without knowing it. And it is these idiots who deduce a wonderful story.
The reason why they look stupid is that, besides their own reasons, they have not found their place in life or their circle. The story of course ends with the joy that they all belong to each other. Thanks to the little boy for all this, because his misplay and collision helped him to make others better. He found the answer to all those things that adults were looking for without eyesight and strenuously. It seems that the happiness in life lies in standing in line and finding the right person.

About a Boy quotes

  • Rachel: Ali has trouble meeting new people. You see, the last guy I went out with, well, he wasn't all good news.

Ali: [loudly] He was a liar!

    Rachel: All right Ali.

  • Ali: I tell you, if your dad goes out with my mum, then you're dead. Really, dead.

Marcus: Oh, don't worry. He's all right.

Ali: I don't care if he's all right! I don't want him going out with my mum. So I don't wanna see him, or you, around here ever again, OK?

Marcus: Well, I'm not really sure it's up to me.

Ali: Well it better be! Or you're gonna die.

Marcus: [voiceover] I was beginning to get the feeling that this kid Ali was a serial killer.

Marcus: Can I have a go on your computer? What games have you got?

Ali: Are you listening to me?

Marcus: Yeah, it's just that I can't really do much at the moment, can I? I mean, Will - that's my dad - well, he likes your mum, and I think she's keen on him.

Ali: [shouting] She's not keen on him! She's only keen on me!
