with someone who understands you.
and do not care about others, please.
A low-key and humorous, a lovely and charming, such a combination is really more beautiful with age.
The movie doesn't have many lines, and most of the shots are placed on the actions and eye contact of the two leading actors. It's not just that two lonely people are leaning against each other, but more importantly, because there is someone who "understands" who can communicate with each other, those nights that carry loneliness and fetters become less difficult. Every night has meaning, every morning has anticipation, and even death becomes less scary.
ps. A small detail:
About ten minutes into the movie, when Lewis went to Eddie's house for the first time, Eddie poured himself significantly more red wine, and then took a swig to reassure himself before continuing to chat.
What a lovely night!
