Goodbye, weapon

A war machine, under the infinite inspiration of a little boy, becomes a hero who saves mankind. His actions are entirely from the heart, full of love for humans.

This giant reminds me of Frankenstein, an artificial man, ugly and kind. This steel giant has the same characteristics. Ugly, unable to communicate, naive but full of primitive love. This love is played out with the help of boys, but it will not be contaminated by the sins of human nature. Following all kinds of misunderstandings, love did not flow from his body after all.

The movie is full of goodness and ugliness, the duel between angels and demons, the characters are prominent, the pictures are simple and beautiful, and the music is moving.

But there are disadvantages. The narrative is too simple, and the details are not clear. Why can the steel giant insist on the influence of the boy, and the description is relatively pale, so that the boy will inevitably become an auxiliary role in the movie. In addition, the story is still old wine in a new bottle, which is not always enjoyable.

You can be a walking gun or a superman defending the planet. Under the body of steel is the softest and kind heart. When human beings create a large number of weapons, it is human beings who hurt each other, and the weapons themselves are always innocent.

Tears are too low for this film. Although the plot is old-fashioned, this kind of robot is really sure to kill for carrot control! ! ! Plus Vin Diesel's voice...I love you too

The Iron Giant quotes

  • Kent Mansley: The army arrives in the morning, Hogarth. Don't get cute.

  • Dean McCoppin: You came here just in time. This rich cat, some industrialist wanted him for the lobby of his company. Whipped out his checkbook right on the spot. I said, "You get him for the rest of your life, but, what, I have to give him up the minute I give birth? Give me time to cut the umbilical, man."
