A little disgust, the kind that dislikes the integrity of the mouth and body

A few years ago, I brought a friend into the pit of Crispyberry Park. A few years later, my friend backhanded a piece of Paradise Town Police Station and threw it back.

Like Crispberry, it’s like playing after watching it in one breath. The density of the passages and the rhythm of the narrative are both high and fast, but let’s set a tone first – this one is somewhat less interesting than Crispyberry. .

Personally, I'm quite disgusted with the comparison between works, but the dubbing, character design, style of the two works, and even the two creators who seem to be on the wrong set, make people unable to compare them. In this comparison, the shortcomings of Paradise Town that are not considered shortcomings are exposed.

It may also be that I am too preconceived. Although the two works are run through the lines that lose their integrity and the feces and farts flying all over the sky, after watching the heaven, the mess is still messy, but when I think back to the crispy berries, it was actually oily. However, with a fresh and refined feeling, is it possible that nature is really so magical?

Thinking about it carefully, let’s not mention how shocking the opening of Crispyberry’s various animals accompanied by the melodious Peer Gynt Suite, let’s just talk about the most intuitive point-in terms of image, Crispyberry’s character looks better than Heaven is a lot more comfortable, isn't it?

If all the characters of Crispberry are ranked in popularity, the black-bellied bear (Molly) must be the character who has reached the top, so what about its mirror role in heaven, the police dog "Bullet"?

Let's start with the conclusion - the bullet is also very distinctive, but in general it is much weaker than the bear.

Creating a character with a distinctive style and unique style has always been the strength of the main creator of this series. This strength is still preserved in Paradise, but the problem with Paradise is that although the character's characteristics are distinct, they are not likable, and from a certain point of view, they are even a bit annoying— —Dusty and Hopsen are "effective" in terms of hilarity, but they're really unlikable in terms of appearance and behavior.

Going back to the comparison of the two pets, Bear and Bullet, we can find that: maybe the main creator wants to get out of the rut of Crispy Berry too much, so he forcibly added a lot of differentiated features to the characters, the protagonist (kevin) orange hair, police officers The frog-like neck of Randall is like this, and the bullet has also gone from the cute shape of the bear to the style of the stray dog.

So, to put it bluntly, the character image of Crispberry is better than Heaven. As a cartoon, this is really a big advantage, enough to make people look and feel different after watching it.

But after all, the image is only the outside, and the most important part of the role is the inside.

The character construction of Crispyberry is very simple. Although the main creators do not necessarily do it deliberately, they still show a trend of binary opposition on the whole - the protagonist (Steve) is a Nobi-style character, usually weak and useless, and critical moments. Still can do something; Sheriff (woody) is a strong leader and a weak father, while his bear child looks cute and dark inside; the most distinctive is lesbian (Connie), more It is the unscrupulous version of Quasimodo, the hero of Notre Dame de Paris, ugly on the outside but kind-hearted.

This simple binary opposition is not necessarily the standard of "good", but it is undoubtedly more suitable for works in the form of cartoons. Heaven also adopts this construction method, but it focuses too much on some obscene and insignificant In terms of the characteristics of morality, there are characters such as the fat boy and the old man that cause some discomfort.

It is worth mentioning that the female characters of the two dramas are the female policewoman (Ethel) in Crispberry and the female policewoman (Gina) in heaven.

In terms of characteristics, policewoman Gina is more recognizable than policewoman Ethel. Both are responsible for the appearance in the play, but the label of "violent maniac" of the former is obviously more interesting than the "green tea bitch" of the latter.

However, as mentioned above, the role of Heaven is too biased towards the characteristics of "unscrupulous", so the policewoman is given the setting of "faithful to the fat boy", which not only destroys the character a bit, but also—although in the Looking for normal "love" in this kind of drama is nonsense, but compared to Gina, the single state of the female forest policeman Ethel allows her to produce more performance space between the forest policeman Steve and the lesbian Connie and subtle effects.

Of course, the element that determines the quality of the work is not only the design of the characters, but also the narrative is a very important part. Compared with the complete diversity narrative of Crispberry, there is a looming main line in heaven. The two narrative methods are better and worse. Can't judge, but maybe because I'm partial to Crispberry, I feel that the narrative of heaven is a bit limiting to the plot, preventing the powerful imagination of the creators from being as free as Crispyberry.

However, although there is a vague dissatisfaction between the lines, the dissatisfaction has always been the style of waiting for me. If there is no accident, there should be a sequel to the Paradise Town Police Station. Come on, come and watch one episode. Come and watch season by season.
