The reason why I was able to finish watching this movie was entirely because of my persistent love for Julie, and I wanted to watch every movie of Julie. Although many film critics say this drama is bad, there are many details that can be learned from the bad drama.
The first topic is the mid-life crisis. After a certain year of marriage, a lot of things in love will evaporate, such as passion. The couple did not have any love scenes from beginning to end, and they only treated each other with respect when they shared the same bed. At the beginning of the movie, Roland drove Vanessa on vacation without a word. Roland took the cigarette in the steering wheel, the other kept looking for fire, and Vanessa sat motionless in the co-pilot. Roland did not speak, and Vanessa did not act. They had lost the most basic language communication.
But when they got to the vacation room, the steps and actions of the two of them were so consistent. They had lived for a long time and were reluctant to communicate, but they were very familiar with each other's psychology. The whole movie shows that the male protagonist loves the female protagonist very much (visually, the male protagonist is a Virgo, he will adjust the angle for her every time the female protagonist puts her eyes, and it is habitual) and the female protagonist is just too much from beginning to end.
What's more, the marriage time is too long to forget the sweet words. There is a scene where the hero goes home early and says "I miss you so much", but the heroine says "don't be stupid". Can't the husband and wife think about it after a long time? The heroine wants to talk to the hero about a topic, but she hesitates. The hero asks "what's the matter", and the heroine is "alright", so one of the three essential factors in marriage is communication
The voyeurism and desire to betray, as well as the jealousy of the sweetness of the other newlyweds, are all phenomena reflected by their own marital problems, and ultimately an extension of the infertility problem.
Only after a stormy marriage will it be stronger
I wrote these words embarrassingly, to pay tribute to Julie, to pay tribute to the goddess I liked for those years, and I will also watch your movies in the future.
