A former SEAL recommended to me a movie

Last time M invited to dinner, I talked to him about "The Lonely Survivor", a film based on a real story (if you are interested, you can read the introduction posted earlier in my circle of friends). In fact, I hadn't seen it yet. Coming out of the enthusiasm after the movie, M's calmness was naturally beyond my expectation. He said that many SEALs like him had read this book, but he was not interested in the movie. I asked because of the plot. Will it bring back unpleasant memories? He said no, because the book and the movie are too fake. The movie talks about several SEALs fighting against 250 Taliban, but how many Taliban actually are? Not even 25! Then he taught me a word: propaganda-propaganda tool. This Hollywood movie is only part of the U.S. government’s propaganda tool. He recommended me to watch jarhead—another Hollywood movie about war. Many Americans don’t like this movie. But it's very real. This is what M actually experienced in the war.
So exaggerating, beautifying, and mythological heroes are not patents of the Chinese, but after all, American audiences have normal IQs, so their war film and television works will not be thrown into the sky. The plot of the grenade blowing down the enemy plane. After
watching the movie, I finally found out that the director was Sam Mendes. By the way, he recommended his road movie "Paris, Texas".
