Adapted from the true story of Christine Chubbuck, a famous American news anchor in 1974. 29-year-old Kristen (Rebecca Hall) was the premier female anchor at the time, with both beauty and intelligence. But in the 1970s, it was not easy for outstanding career-oriented women to gain recognition in society and the workplace. Coupled with love and family issues, Christine was already under tremendous pressure. Moderate. The mediocre means of promoting emotions, the protagonist's anxiety and depression are not fully expressed. I expected the subject to show more of the dark side of journalism (like Nightcrawler did)
