The absurd nature of political correctness

The American people have freedom of speech because they can scold the president.

The people of a certain country also have freedom of speech because they can also scold the president of the United States.

Since the "Nazi" president of the United States came to power, the overwhelming criticism from the media and film and television industries has turned the freedom of speech criticizing the president into political correctness in American society.

The problem is that the president's seat was elected through legal channels. Are you questioning the IQ of the majority of voters or the status of the U.S. Constitution by sparing no effort in attacking people?

In fact, this politically correct atmosphere is just an illusion created by a few leftist elites by controlling the discourse power of the cultural industry. The broad masses of ordinary people do not have a platform for the leftist elite to express their views on an equal footing, and can only bear it silently.

As an important position for "righteous people" to fight against "Nazi obscenity", American dramas have played a vanguard role in this politically correct farce.

However, the valuable thing about "the good fight" is that it expresses its own opinion without selectively ignoring certain facts. This deserves all respect.

In the eighth episode, the encounter of black lawyer Lucca at her boyfriend Colin's birthday party reveals the absurd nature of leftist elite political correctness.

As an outstanding representative of the leftist elite, Colin's parents and guests began to scold Trump when they saw Lucca, or talked about black topics (The Root magazine, Jay Z, etc.) Made Lucca deeply uncomfortable.

Why does Lucca feel sick.

If we follow the logic of the leftist elite, we are not showing you the utmost respect. You hate Trump, we scold Trump; you are black, we talk about black topics. Although the dialogue was not substantive, we tried our best.

However, Lucca is not only a black person, but also a highly educated adult with an independent personality, and this seemingly "maximum respect" is the source of her discomfort.

This phony respect hides a fundamentally different treatment, racial segregation. The subtext is to tell Lucca: you are not the same as us. We white people can talk and laugh and talk about everything; but we can give you nothing but vain "encouragement" and "respect", and that's all you need.

Black people struggled hard for hundreds of years, but they were eventually treated by white elites as infants, decorations, and politically correct decorations to satisfy their own moral superiority.

This is racism at its deepest level.

What's more, Lucca was told that her relationship with Colin was a face project for Colin's senatorial bid. She's just playing a black girlfriend who's been tagged in to play the racial equality card for Colin's campaign. She is just another victim of political correctness.

In the end, Lucca, who felt humiliated, chose to leave.

The absurd nature of political correctness is now clearly revealed.
