Classic review

Just read "The Arrow of Time" just watch this old movie.

The science fiction content in the movie must have been very cool back then. Needless to say the plot, the vast ocean of the People’s War plus individual heroism is clichéd enough.

James Spader was so young, he has been a romantic since he was a child. I still like the look in "Boston Legal".

Kurt Russell's hairstyle is very cool, much like the American soldier in the game.

Why does the villain want to look like a boy or a girl? Is it true that male and female portraits must be expensive?

I've never seen a movie that insinuates politics so obviously, it can't be called an innuendo, the whole movie is so...Hollywood-style.

The movie was done well, it was a big production, and the scenes were well constructed, but I was disgusted by the script, the political orientation was too strong, the level of brainwashing, and it was disgusting. The two male protagonists complement each other very well in the setting, and the two act very well, especially Spader, he can really turn corruption into magic, and can make uninteresting things lively and interesting. Again, the script is disgusting, disgusting.

Stargate quotes

  • Dr. Daniel Jackson: [about the Stargate] It was under the cover-stones?

Catherine Langford: Yes. My father found it, 1928; made out of a mineral unlike any found on Earth.

  • Arabic Interpreter: [first lines]

Arabic Interpreter: [at the dig site in Giza, 1928] Professor!

    [chatters in Arabic]

Arabic Interpreter: Professor! We found something beautiful!

    Prof. Langford: Ja?

Arabic Interpreter: Oh, yes! Big, big, big surprise!
