This version of the film is a subversive adaptation of the novel. Robinson's original intention of drifting has also changed from the uneasy life of the middle class in the book, wanting to take risks, to being forced to go to sea because of love accidentally kills a rival in the movie. The wandering in the original book for more than 30 years, at least three adventures at sea, from opening a manor to selling slaves, was also shortened to 5 years before returning to Great Britain and getting married. I saw the bizarre experience of the protagonist, but did not portray the tough quality in the book. So the protagonist of this version of the movie is more like the barbarian Friday! The touching honesty and very pure character surging in him is really bling bling very moving.
