Filling my head with Lana Del Rey's repertoire took me through this movie. Elaine, who seeks true love through sex and magic, is charming and deadly. The reality is so cruel, as if sleep is the key to the next step? The sexual satire is really in place, and the picture is so retro that it's hard to believe that this is a film made in the present. I have to say that the final outcome of trying to keep the lover's heart seems a bit divisive and sad. Elaine's love spell on men made them suffer and finally made herself suffer. Therefore, beauty has a price, whether she is a real witch, a mental patient, or her obsession, all of which have wrapped her life of painful doubts and self-fantasies.
