"Special Forces: The Rise of Cobra": Put "Transformers" underfoot

Better than "Transformers" 1 and 2 combined-this is the biggest surprise I got after watching "Special Forces: The Rise of Cobra", I thought it was just a handful of boring stunts + poor quality popcorn made from a plot of dog blood , But under the meticulous creation of director Sommers, "Special Forces" is completed with precise rhythm, three-dimensional characters, clever suspense, and baggage preset for the sequel—of course, dazzling visual stimulation is indispensable. A masterpiece that can be called a textbook.

Who said that commercial entertainment blockbusters are not pursued? "Special Forces" is also full of novel technology and popular action scenes with a small hit in three minutes and a big hit in five minutes. However, from the perspective of the type of scenes, "Special Forces" is obviously much richer than "Transformers". The beginning was the vertical offensive and defensive battle where the US military convoy was attacked, then the white ghost and the baroness broke into the special forces base in the sneak attack, followed by the car chasing on the streets of Paris, and finally the underwater duel at the villain’s base camp. The film mainly consists of these four major action segments, during which there are not only basic realistic weapon warfare, but also a seamless blend of science fiction inventions. Aircraft, submarines, and invincible battle suits all appeared on the stage. White Ghost and Snake Eye also used ninja swordsmanship to show Eastern kung fu. Whenever a big battlefield is divided into several small battlefields, Sommers can always make the plot through scheduling editing. The confession and the control of the rhythm have reached an excellent balance.

"Special Forces" has also filled the characters with rich flesh and blood. The characters are no longer fighters, but "people with stories" with rich history. The love between Ricord (opening the umbrella) and Scarlett (redhead), the love of the happy friends, the training and growth of the duke and Ricord throughout, of course, the most important adaptation is the Baroness and the Duke (Duke) In his love scene, the femme fatale in the original work turns the duke’s fiancee into the duke’s fiancée, but the fiancé’s younger brother Rex died on the battlefield led by the duke, so the fiancee becomes the baroness who acts for the adulterer. But in the end, another shocking secret came out: the real villain was actually the scientist doctor of the terrorist group. The disfigured guy who always covered his face was Rex, and the baroness’s temperament changed a lot. The reason is because Rex injected her with medicine. So, finally the mystery is solved. No matter what the outside is shouting to kill the sky, male and female pig's feet always have to kiss affectionately (goosebumps fall off the ground), and then the hero saves the United States and escapes to heaven.

At the same time, the grievances between Bai Youling and Snake Eyes are also run through the plot. Somos did not adopt a simple linear layout, but flashed back the two childhood grudges-Snake Eyes through the memories of the white ghosts before the battle. The suspense of never speaking was also explained (poor Ray Parker never showed his face from beginning to end).

Li Bingxian's performance is also very good. Of course, first of all, the character Bai Youling is very playful, but you can see that Li Bingxian is also very hardworking, taking off his shirt and his muscles are not much inferior to "Little Brad Pitt", and his English accent is not too heavy. Judging from the painful memories of Rain and Jun Ji-hyun in "Speed Racer" and "Said Yat" respectively, it is estimated that Lee Byung-hyun will be the most promising seed player in the Korean literary and art world to enter the international film scene. In addition, the small details in "Special Forces" are also intriguing. In the scene of the Battle of Paris, the baroness looked at the escaped female citizens and did not forget to say "the shoes are good", which not only adjusted the atmosphere but also outlined Character traits of a woman. But at this point, I have to thank "Special Forces" for putting the big scene in Paris. Not to mention the crash on the Seine River and the destruction of the city, and the downfall of the Eiffel Tower, but the French will never protest, which also saved China. The simultaneous global premiere in the mainland. In case Somos knocks down the Pearl of the Orient, it is estimated that the relevant units will definitely not introduce the film. Therefore, I solemnly call on future blockbuster directors to stay far away from China when designing their scenes. Even if China stays away from right and wrong, we can also be more refreshed on the big screen.

The clues of "Special Forces" are actually very complicated. There are so many grievances and hatreds that are not mentioned, and even the title of the film is drawn to the Middle Ages-I thought at first that the film was misplaced, but Somos moved freely, and finally got all of these. Echoing, the medieval mask has also become the iconic prop at the end. When Rex put on the ancestral evil mask of the Destro family, we saw the rise of a terrorist leader, of course, disguised as The president's Zatan also has reasons to make the audience look forward to the sequel.

The same is the Hasbro toy-Marvel comics-Paramount blockbuster, Somos is enough to make Michael Bay ashamed. However, the box office is not certain. At least in mainland China, the results of "Transformers 2" must be far better than "Special Forces: The Rise of Cobra", but this does not hinder my personal judgment criteria-Michael Beizhen wants to think To become a major director, stop mumbling about "Transformers 3", and hurry up to toss "Cruise to Death Island 2" is the right way.
