The first is a sports-themed film. The national stimulant of "hard-to-hard, soft skills" inherited by rugby has become a major guarantee for the production of feature films. Secondly, it is a film about racial contradictions and civil rights with a sense of "social mirror", with a trace back to the historical origin. However, compared to the "race" of "American X-Files", "Twelve Angry Men", and "Rwandan Hotel", this "Glory Years" has too much American heroism from the title to the plot. Any dark reality will be fleetingly suppressed by the later discovery of human nature, which leads to a strong inspirational meaning that makes people ignore that it is adapted from real events. After all, 30 years later, we are still in an era of disputes. The decay of civil rights and the change of capture, the complexities of racial disputes and extinction all make our eyes confused by the haze of reality. So, this is more of an inspirational film. However, since it is directed to a type, it is not an inspiring good thing if you are diligent and perfect in the inspirational film. After all, it was soft films that started to inspire the soul. The songs in the film are very good, especially the soul song "ain't no mountain high enough".
