In front of death and love

I watched it a few years ago, when a bunch of people were noisy together, and I didn't feel it.
I watched it again recently and found it to be quite good.
The story of a boy who has no ideals in life and a girl who suffers from advanced leukemia.
Although the love and the plot turn are a bit abrupt,
but at 1 o'clock in the middle of the night, he was still caught. A little touched.
People who like this film can also check out Dying Young, and they will be similarly moved.
No matter how desperate people are, in the face of the beauty of love, they will also ignite hope.
The difference between the two films is that A Walk to Remember is a dying day who uses love to save a teenager who has lost his faith, while the rekindled hope in Dying Young is a leukemia patient who faces death.

A Walk to Remember quotes

  • Reverend Sullivan: "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked." Hmmm.

[Landon walks into the Church as Reverend Sullivan is practicing his sermon]

Reverend Sullivan: "Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap..." Can I help you?

Landon: Uh, yes, sir. I'd like to ask your daughter to dinner on Saturday night.

    Reverend Sullivan: That's not possible.

Landon: Well... with all due respect, sir, I ask you to reconsider.

Reverend Sullivan: With all due respect, Mr. Carter, I made my decision. You can, uh, exit the way you entered.

Landon: Listen, I'm sorry I haven't treated Jamie the way I should've. She deserves more than that. I'm just asking you for the same thing that you teach us every day in Church. And that's faith.

    Reverend Sullivan: [Exhales deeply]

  • Landon: That is one scary

[turns around and sees Jamie's father]

    Landon: Jesus!

    Reverend Sullivan: No, Jamie's father.
