The movie "Brigsby Bear" is a touching journey about family, friendship and love. It is surprisingly heartwarming when the family, including imprisoned Ted, and the friends, such as Detective Vogel, help James fulfill his dream of making an amateur movie about Brigsby Bear. The success of the amateur movie seems to largely open the heart of James, who was held captive for most of his life.

The cast, particularly Kyle Mooney and Jorge Lendeborg Jr., give amazing performances. They make the audience feel so authentic about the emotions delivered by the film. The movie is especially sentimental when James is met with a standing ovation at the premiere of his amateur movie.
