The entire 90-minute film has a dull atmosphere, which is very different from the excitement brought by the Chinese translation. It's basically the peaceful daily life of a retired old police detective who doesn't want to be lonely. The gangsters with impatient IQs, the mercenary loan sharks, the black mistresses who are obsessed with women's clothes, and many nonsensical passers-by make this a not very funny comedy. All I can say is, it's not good-looking, and I basically never laughed. But it's not too ugly, at least I watched it.
