An invigorating B-level film masterpiece

I watched this film a few days ago, and I have not been in a good mood recently. I have not had time to comment on this film. The overall feeling is just one word: cool! It's been a long time since I saw such an invigorating standard American bloody blockbuster. The story of the entire movie is compact, in addition to retaining a large number of bloody shots, it is also interspersed with countless jokes. I admit that maybe most people will feel disgusting when watching this movie, but that’s the director’s intention. The purpose of the movie is to earn the audience’s attention. What we need is this kind of invigoration, otherwise why would you do it? Work hard to look for this B-level film? Horror Planet has completely overwhelmed the psychological cues and pressure caused by Japanese-style horror movies. I believe that this movie must also be very successful in commercial operations.

The whole film follows the style of retro American movies, the sense of shabby road movie film, with cool music, coupled with the shocking confrontation between American heroes and disgusting zombies, together with a splash of "ketchup", From beginning to end, it can bring huge impact to your retinal nerves.

The exaggerated heroine, with an M4A1 machine gun with a grenade launcher connected to her severed limb, is impressive. It can be said that Robert Rodriguez really spent a lot of effort during the shooting. Freddy Rodríguez, as the male protagonist and the director’s biological son, also portrayed the image of a traditional American hero. The script is too bad, but the details are well taken care of, and there is no lack of artistic sense. I personally rarely comment on commercial films, but I like to watch commercial films.
