An invigorating B-level film masterpiece

I watched this film a few days ago, and I have not been in a good mood recently. I have not had time to comment on this film. The overall feeling is just one word: cool! It's been a long time since I saw such an invigorating standard American bloody blockbuster. The story of the entire movie is compact, in addition to retaining a large number of bloody shots, it is also interspersed with countless jokes. I admit that maybe most people will feel disgusting when watching this movie, but that’s the director’s intention. The purpose of the movie is to earn the audience’s attention. What we need is this kind of invigoration, otherwise why would you do it? Work hard to look for this B-level film? Horror Planet has completely overwhelmed the psychological cues and pressure caused by Japanese-style horror movies. I believe that this movie must also be very successful in commercial operations.

The whole film follows the style of retro American movies, the sense of shabby road movie film, with cool music, coupled with the shocking confrontation between American heroes and disgusting zombies, together with a splash of "ketchup", From beginning to end, it can bring huge impact to your retinal nerves.

The exaggerated heroine, with an M4A1 machine gun with a grenade launcher connected to her severed limb, is impressive. It can be said that Robert Rodriguez really spent a lot of effort during the shooting. Freddy Rodríguez, as the male protagonist and the director’s biological son, also portrayed the image of a traditional American hero. He gave the heroine courage and faith, but in the end he died a little bit too unjustly. After so many guns and bullets, he didn’t die before he finally escaped. Hung up, sorry. At the end of the film, the "plomida" in the heart carries the baby girl on his back, implying that the male protagonist has a descendant heir. Fortunately, this means hope. just like you said, two against the world. The most touching and courageous sentence in the film can be said to be the finishing touch of the film.

It can be said that the plot of this movie is empty, as has always been the case for commercial blockbusters in the United States. The script is too bad, but the details are well taken care of, and there is no lack of artistic sense. I personally rarely comment on commercial films, but I like to watch commercial films. After all, that kind of visual effects and sense of presence are impossible for traditional literary films. While watching literary and artistic films, exploring human nature, and thinking about the philosophy of life, watching commercial films while cursing foul language is also very cool. Horror Planet is exactly this kind of commercial film, focusing on details, plus perfect shooting processing, it is a success. Although many bloody shots are still not real enough (the art level is relatively average), it still brings people that kind of refreshment, the kind of refreshment that makes people generate motivation, and generate confidence and power to overcome all evil.

With favorite songs after the end of the credits, very warm:
see the pyamids along the Nile
watch the sunrise from a tropic isle
just remember, darlin' all the while
you belong to me

see the market place in Old Algiers
send me photographs and souvenirs
just remember when a dream appears
you belong to me

I'll
Be so alone
Without you

Maybe
You'll be lonesome, too and blue

fly the ocean in a silver plane
see the jungle when it's wet with rain
just remember till you're home again
you
belong
to me
