When I first watched this movie, I was more aware of the hardships of maternal love, childhood fantasies, and the tranquility of small-town life in America. After watching it again, I realized that this movie was about child violence. However, when I watched it for the first time, I was more moved by the previous themes.
A few details of the movie:
1. The existence of the stepfather as a negative character seems to have never shown his face from beginning to end.
2. Tom Hanks has a brief cameo at the beginning and end of the credits, telling the story of "keeping a promise".
3. The aircraft made by the brothers actually flew in the end.
