A wordless poem about love

This is a very delicate British film. The director, actors, cameraman, and soundtrack are all well-informed, accurately portraying the emotional changes of each scene. I have always liked British pastoral-style movies, and I like to watch those well-dressed young heroes and dignified ladies in exquisite skirts, in the beautiful and ancient manor, pure for love, and distressed for love. Since I haven't read Miss Jane's original work, when I watch this movie, my emotions fluctuate with the direction of the story. For the first time, I felt strongly how much I wanted the hero and heroine in the story to be happy together. Afraid to love each other because of love, and inferior to love because of inferiority to oneself. It would be a pity and sadness to miss each other just because of this.

Because of the guilt of Colonel Wentworth (who had rejected his marriage proposal 8 years ago because of his family), Ann did not dare to regain the courage to face him 8 years later. She turned her love for him into endless grief and pain in her heart. She had preconceived herself in a position where she could no longer be liked by Colonel Wentworth, so every time she appeared in front of Colonel Wentworth, she dared not look at his face. She herself was afraid of getting the answer she already knew from his expression, but because she loved him so much, she hoped that he would take the initiative to talk to her to understand her emotions. That's it, like and feel inferior, reserved and uneasy. At that time, she may never have imagined that the pair of loving eyes she was looking forward to had never left her.

And so did Colonel Wentworth. Although his love for Ann was fiery, he always exercised great restraint in front of Ann. He also hopes that Ann still likes him, but men have more identity concerns than women. He knew the reason why he and Ann separated in the first place, so he was afraid of losing Ann forever because of his impulse again. Being careful, it made An even more misunderstood.

"Love is selfish" is true. Originally wanted to sacrifice for each other great, but found out that each other is selfish and no one wants to let go. If Ann hadn't misunderstood the news of Colonel Wentworth's marriage, she might never have known how much she loved Colonel Wentworth. And Colonel Wentworth, had it not been for being misunderstood by Louisa's family, he might never have noticed that he was so intolerant of Ann. In love, everyone is a fool. Sometimes the so-called sanity may make us miss a lot of people we should cherish. Fortunately, Ann in the story is lucky. She quickly became aware of her feelings for Colonel Wentworth, and actively seized any subsequent opportunity to confront him. Her courage comes from the longing for love inspired by that grief. Because of love, she regained her confidence. She is no longer afraid of losing, because at this time she has understood that the real miss of true love is that you think it has come, but you dare not take the initiative to welcome it. So, the full story unfolded just right, and Ann returned step by step to Colonel Wentworth's life.

Some love, needless to say. As long as you are here, I am here. Believe in each other, even if you miss most of your life, you will suddenly be enlightened again because of a smile from the other party.

Finally, a quote from the English poet Glady's poem

"unsaid"
Sometimes,
lips are sealed,
tongue is tied .
Sometimes,
hands can't reach,
the feelings are locked,
into these eyes.
Read the words unsaid,
the feelings not laid,
plunge deeply into my heart
everytime.
Love is there. Love is there.

Persuasion quotes

  • Sir Walter Elliot: I must say, though, the worst of Bath is the number of plain women. I frequently observe that one pretty face would be followed by five and thirty frights.

  • Captain Wentworth: [distressed and avoiding making eye contact] I have been charged by the Admiral... That is Admiral Croft has been confidently informed that Mr. Elliot... That everything is now set in your family for a marriage between yourself and Mr. Elliot. It was added that you were to live at Kellynch. The Admiral wished me to say that if this is the case that his lease will be canceled and he and my sister will find themselves another house... What answer should I give the Admiral

Anne Elliot: You will please thank the Admiral for me, but I must tell you that he is utterly misinformed.

[Capt Wentworth suddenly makes eye contact]

    Captain Wentworth: [hopeful] Misinformed? Utterly?

    Anne Elliot: Quite mistaken.

Captain Wentworth: No truth in any of it?

    Anne Elliot: None.
