I still don't think that this film shows how brave/how witty Karolin is. You know how cruel and ruthless the "real world" is, the deserted and gray world as depicted in the movie! Xiaoka just doesn't want this to go on anymore. It's not that her parents don't love her. It's just that her secular work completely condenses her life. It shouldn't be that way.
She was tempted to go to another world, another world she wants/we all want, where, you know, our wishes/desires will get the greatest satisfaction, but you have to pay the price.
The two bridges make me linger, it is a kind of wish/movement/regret/heartache. In reality, Mr. B is considered an alcoholic lunatic, but he is actually a circus performer, and his glory has long been wiped out by the changes of the times. But in that world he was shining again, he was the head of the circus, and those cute jerboas, under his command at will, that world brought him back to life again.
The SHOWGIRL sisters who lived in the basement were once so charming. Who said they were not big stars? I think they are still very obsessed with their youthful scenery. The clutches of the years will not let anyone go. Birth, old age, sickness and death are the laws of nature, but it is difficult to melt into emotions! Those pets on the shelf are so long and hard to give up. I would rather let them accompany them in another way than to lose them! The sisters are no longer beautiful, and even a little ridiculous. But in that world, their wishes were restored triumphantly, and the two of them were still radiant and agile. All of their darlings were present on SHOWTIME, and there is only forever companionship without leaving! I think that obsession with what was once beautiful is really hard to get rid of!
The good things stay for a short time, and the good things are not necessarily true. Real/reality/practical/relentlessly hurt our hearts again and again!
In the second half of the film, the witch appears and everything is in vain. Everything originally has a selfish purpose. Is it so expensive to pursue beauty and dreams? When you haven't recollected it, it has already been smashed! Xiaoka is really witty/brave/. This is what many people want to say. She rescued her parents, her real parents. She liberated the three poor children, and everything was restored to its original state!
At the end, we must give people some hope. Everyone is busy in the garden. The beauty in the real world requires us to create and manage ourselves. When we believe in yourself, it will come true.
The film is also exquisitely produced, and the two worlds are true and false, allowing the audience to drift in two visual environments. Recommend friends who haven't seen it to take a look, look for the inadvertent touch, protect that dream and beauty, and let it shine with you forever!
