The spy industry’s water is deep

This film review only discusses the plot.

First of all, the perspective of this movie is not from the perspective of God, but from the perspective of the heroine, which is mainly told in the form of memories. For the plot where the heroine was not on the scene, it is reasonable to think that it was the brain supplement of the heroine, such as the protected East German surrender agent shot, the specific process of the French female agent being killed, and so on. Because it involves multi-party games, the heroine also has a spy story with multiple identities. After reading it, I cannot help asking, is this memoir of the heroine 100% true? Does the heroine have 100% motivation and ability to tell the truth?

The memoirs of female spies revolve around a list of lost agents.

On the eve of the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, a British MI6 agent in Berlin was assassinated by a former Soviet KGB agent and lost a list of agents. It is said that the betrayer was codenamed "Satchel". So MI6 sent a top agent, the heroine, to Berlin to perform two missions, one is to retrieve the missing list, and the other is to find Satchel. As a result, the hostess assassinated MI6's local connector (David, James McAvoy) in Berlin. After returning, he was investigated by the organization (MI6). The hostess told the organization why she killed her own National People's Congress. Wei, because she suspects that David is Satchel. The reasons provided by the hostess to the organization are as follows:

1) The female protagonist was hunted down by KGB as soon as she got off the plane in Berlin, indicating that her identity as an agent was betrayed. The connector is one of the few people who know her identity, so the hostess has reason to suspect that the connector betrayed her.

2) The female protagonist went to the residence of the murdered agent to collect clues, but was hit by the East German police (one of the 3 scenes). The female protagonist believed that only the person who joined her knew her whereabouts, so she again had reason to suspect that the person was betrayed. .

3) The hostess escorted the surrendered East German agent across the Berlin Wall, and the agent was shot in the abdomen. In fact, the hostess did not see who fired the shot, but since it was shot in the abdomen, the hostess has reason to rule out that the shooting was on both sides The KGB sniper on the building, and the suspected David who accompanied him at the time. The scene of David shooting in the movie is actually the brain supplement of the heroine.

4) The French female agent who was close to the hostess was killed. There were photos taken by a French girl on the scene of the contact with the KGB arms dealer. Therefore, the heroine has reason to suspect that the joint person killed the French girl, and the joint person is Satchel.

5) When the heroine assassinated David, David's last sentence, "I really love Berlin", was used by the heroine as evidence to prove that David had betrayed the organization.

However, through the self-report of the heroine, the audience knew that the heroine lied to MI6 at least two times, one about the location of the list. The hostess declared to MI6 that she did not get the list, forcing MI6 to close the case. The second is who is Satchel. The heroine accused the organization MI6 that David was Satchel, and at the end, during the transaction between the heroine and KGB, the heroine admitted that she was Satchel. Finally, the audience knew that the heroine's allegiance was not MI6, but the CIA. Therefore, the credibility of the heroine's report to MI6 is in doubt. The above five reasonings are just prevarication for MI6 to use to close the case, and not necessarily true.

So the question is, since the heroine is ultimately loyal to the CIA, what does the CIA want that list for? What is the real reason for the heroine to kill David? Why did the heroine prove to MI6 that David is Satchel?

Answer it yourself.

What does the CIA want that list for? This story is to tell the audience that no matter where there is a conflict, no matter where the conflict is on the surface, there is a CIA behind it.

The real reason why the heroine killed David? It is to prevent that list from leaking, because David has this list (in that watch), and the heroine has doubts about David. In this case, the CIA's order is "prefer to kill by mistake and not miss it." ", protect this list at all costs. This couldn't be explained to MI6 on the table, so I made up a bunch of specious reasons to MI6.

Why did the heroine prove to MI6 that David is Satchel? It's entirely to disturb the muddy water to hide his CIA motivation and identity.

Therefore, I personally think that David may have been unjustly killed. The problem is that the espionage industry has always been black and black, and the dead cannot defend themselves.
