. . . a stone, a leaf, an unfound door; of a stone, a leaf, a door.
And of all the forgotten faces.
Naked and alone we came into exile. In her dark womb we did not
know our mother's face; from the prison of her flesh have we come
into the unspeakable and incommunicable prison of this earth.
Which of us has known his brother? Which of us has looked into his
father's heart? Which of us has not remained forever prison-pent?
Which of us is not forever a stranger and alone?
O waste of loss, in the hot mazes, lost, among bright stars on this
most weary unbright cinder, lost! Remembering speechlessly we seek
the great forgotten language, the lost lane-end into heaven, a
stone, a leaf, an unfound door. Where? When?
O lost, and by the wind grieved, ghost, come back
again.
Like Mr. Perkins, I was stunned. at the beginning of the movie.
2) Continue to be stunned.
3) Literal arts are poor, literal arts are dead, but the emotion is real. Literal arts are great. Without these, how can I be sure that I am still alive.
4) The Jazz Bar scene is so beautiful. Think of Sony's Blues.
5) Not a "fan" of Colin Firth, Jude Law, Nicole Kidman, but love their show so much. Moves me as much as literature. And Guy Pearce... a real actor.
6) People can be so different from each other, making people compassionate.
7) People can communicate with each other in this way, making people compassionate.
8) The lines are too beautiful, and only in their stories, these words that are probably "made" a little will be so sincere and empathetic. "You have no idea what I've been through to finally stand here, look at you, and feel nothing." cried. There's also a lot of dialogue that's beautiful.
9) The loneliness of the creator is as beautiful as the brilliance of the creator.
