Just simply wanted to use the actor Leslie Howard. Leslie Howard was born on April 3, 1893 in London, England, to a Hungarian father and an English mother. He is probably best known for his role as Ashley Wilkes in Gone with the Wind. In 1943, his plane was shot down in the Bay of Biscay by Germans as Churchill's plane, and the remains of him and his wife are unknown. It was later revealed that the popular movie star was a British spy who persuaded General Franco to prevent Spain from participating in World War II. He loves theatre and once described his views on theatre as follows: "Any actor hates to leave the stage, for there he is supreme, the most important individual." As for acting, he said: "I can`t think of anything more exciting than trying to be an actor." Even if you've never seen any of Leslie Howard's films, you've inadvertently learned his name through other stars, like Humphrey Bogart— In order to thank Howard for his support in "Fossil Forest", Bogart named his daughter Leslie, or Leslie Cheung - Leslie was chosen as his English name because of his love for this British actor. His acting is relatively restrained, and you rarely see him yelling and winking in the film. Like many good actors, subtle changes in his eyes can basically express all his emotions. In "Fossil Forest," when he satirizes Bogart's robber as "the last believer in brutish egoism," he hides a subtle tinge of disdain in his slightly narrowed eyes. And in "The Shackles of Human Nature", when the beloved woman is mocked as Pozi, just the act of closing his eyes is enough to break the audience's heart. Throughout his acting career, most of the roles he played were sensitive, neurotic and literary intellectuals. Judging by his soft face and the suave demeanor in his gestures, you have to admit that this type of role is his. This style of actor was unique in Hollywood at that time. At least, I can't find a second actor with similar temperament to him for the time being.
