During the war, people cannot be judged by morality. For the sake of food and clothing, killing people, stealing and looting have become commonplace. War is a statesman's war, and soldiers have no sense of honor. Driven by seven emotions and six desires, what are the three obediences and four virtues, and the curse of going to hell? Enjoying the joy in front of you, who cares about what happens behind you and the next life? The face of a "beautiful" samurai is actually riddled with holes and hideous, which is perhaps the truest face of human nature. He started the war, so God has its own punishment, let the mask of the evil ghost follow him forever, until death. Eight was killed by an unknown person. We can imagine that this unknown person may be the husband of the daughter-in-law and the son of the mother-in-law. In fact, he did not die. Or a random deserter, the first to strike is stronger. Eight's death and what happened to her mother-in-law later are all karmic consequences. Punish him for killing two warriors by the river and for coveting his friend's wife. The mother-in-law put on the mask in order to scare her daughter-in-law. She didn't want the mask to stick to her mother-in-law's face after it rained. The daughter-in-law took it off violently. This is punishment, for killing the samurai, for intimidating others, for murdering others. Refers to the method: hole. The hole that killed the beautiful samurai was actually a black hole of 1. Humanity, as hinted at at the beginning of the film. 2. Hell, the most evil people fall into the endless hell after all. The mother-in-law killed the general here. At the end, we clearly saw the daughter-in-law stepped over, and when the mother-in-law was crossing, the film stopped abruptly. We don't know whether she fell to the bottom, we can only guess. If you cross the past, it is the redemption of human nature. If you don't cross the past, it is a deep sadness and irony for human nature. Desires are hard to fill, too many to read. Harming others will eventually harm oneself, good and evil will be rewarded.
