It should be said that Polanski's version of "Macbeth" is still good in terms of set, costume, art and rhythm control, especially the creation of the horror atmosphere that the director was good at at that time was very Polanski in some scenes. In addition, it is very good to be loyal to the original work and retain a lot of Shakespeare's beautiful writing, but the choice of the main actors is a relatively big failure. It may be that Orson Welles' version of the male protagonist is too good, so I feel Joe Finch has always been relatively free and not enough to play, lacking enough emotional expression.
