Very light story, very heavy life

A car, two people, a few glasses of wine, a week’s pre-marriage trip, two sparks... There is no obvious climax, and it’s easy to tell, just like a friend telling you about his recent troubles, but once you Start listening, and listen to those wise and funny dialogues, and you will be moved by the little surprises in the ordinary.

This is not a warm and inspirational film, it is full of helplessness, compromise, and ridicule about life, if you say David. Lynch likes to roughly cut the American Dream with a chainsaw. The director of the film, Alexander. Payne used a small and delicate scalpel. Miles, a middle-aged man who has been divorced, dreams of a writer, and began to gain weight, disperses his inner sensitivity and vulnerability with his passion for wine tasting. He loves his treasured Chavel Blanc 1961, looking forward to a special day that can accompany it, but in the end he served it in a disposable paper cup in the Burger King and drank it with a hamburger. This day is nothing more than usual. Day, perhaps, life is nothing special to him, he has compromised.

However, you don’t have to worry about the negative impact of its depression. The final stage of the film is the beginning of getting better. Miles and Maya, their future can rekindle your warm expectations. In the film, their sensational conversation about wine and life at Stephanie's house is even more beautiful and unforgettable.

"I don’t know, it’s a very difficult grape to grow, did you know? It has a thin skin, very sensitive, and early ripening. It’s not as easy to grow as the cabernet black grape and can grow anywhere, and It can thrive even when it is neglected. Pinot noir needs constant care and attention. It only grows in the hidden and special corners of the world. Only the greatest patience and cultivation of gardeners can make it grow. Only those who are willing to spend time to understand Pinot Noir can understand its potential and feel all its expressions, I mean taste. It is the longest, most eye-catching, most delicate, and oldest thing in the world. I mean red wine can also be very strong, but in comparison, cabernet is tacky." -Miles

"I always think of the life of wine. I think of it as a living thing. Living and living. I always think about what happened in the year when the grapes were grown, how the sun was scattered on the earth, and What will it look like if it rains. How do people take care of those grapes and pick them. If it is a bottle of aging wine, then how many people who have taken care of those grapes have died. I always wonder how the wine continues to grow The change is like if I opened a bottle of wine today, its taste must be different from when it was opened on any other day. Because wine is alive, and it is constantly changing and becoming more complicated. Until it is It reached its peak state, and then began its stable, aging process, just like your 61 years."-Maya

has no wine beside me, but I am drunk and my cheeks start to warm. The two Pinot noirs, eager to be properly placed in their lives, have each traveled half of their lives, meeting by chance, knowing each other and cherishing each other, and exchanging trust and moving with each other. In the lens, Maya’s eyes are like water, and I am a pontoon... A

long life, in the movie, only a few shots are needed to switch to an end, but in reality, there is no need to live in every second of every year. A lifetime seems to be long enough, but there is always too much waiting, waiting for a flower to bloom, a sunrise, a change of heart...wandering around, gradually calming down, living a life of ease, watching interesting movies, thinking about it It’s such a common and extravagant thing to be hit by a heavy incident, to be perplexed by subtle troubles, to toast and to wait in ordinary days.

Finally, I want to say, "Life with a Glass of Wine", a well-translated name, it is the most memorable film I saw at the end of 2009.

Michael's recommendation is unfortunately not my dish. It reminds me of the movie that I don’t know whether it is love at sunset or dawn. I talked about it all the way. Say when you're tired, drink and have sex after drinking. The troubles of foreigners are always so high-level and heartbroken for dreams, but we are still stuck on the most basic material security issue. The art is a bit overdone, but I still admire the sentence "We are all just a fingerprint on a skyscraper."

"I'm a fingerprint on a skyscraper window, I'm a dung on toilet paper, rushing to the sea with thousands of rubbish." "Look, how beautifully written, I can't write it. "Neither can I, it was written by Bukowski."
