"The Genius Ripley" is one of my most admired masterpieces. It makes people worry about a cunning criminal and feel relieved that he is at large. The script, suspense, turning point, actors, and scene selection are all fine. Unforgettable.
As brothers of the same clan, this drama is about to hit a new low that I've seen long and smelly. It's a little bit worse than last week's "Dead Love Chocolate", and the effect of crushing chest tightness is comparable to "Fight Club". Of course, after all, it is the famous title of Ripley's original author's work. After reading it, I was just depressed and puzzled, and I didn't have the anger after being deceived by "Fight Club".
The summary is that a West German picture framer is terminally ill and anxious, and a bad guy comes to him and asks him to kill and give him money to support his wife and daughter after his death. He hesitated, struggled, inquired and finally took the order. Go to Paris first, the subway kills the first person. The secondary line is that Ripley plays Deep with an old buddy in America. After returning to Munich, his wife was puzzled. Then I got on the train to kill the second person, during which I met Ripley on the train. Ripley was inexplicably kind and helped him kill someone (usually strangled in the toilet and thrown out of the car like a foam box), and then The two became friends suddenly and abruptly. The wife quarrelled after returning home. The two men went to a villa again and killed several bad guys who asked them to kill. Drive the body to the beach to burn, and then the framer suddenly drove away and died of illness on the way. Ripley couldn't catch up on the beach, and sighed infatuatedly. ——On this story alone, it is mediocre, bland, boring, and boring to the point of heinous. No auction value at all. The worst part is that the filming was protracted and procrastinated by the director, and the result was that the audience collapsed and almost died first.
Ripley is first and foremost a supporting character, and secondly, he has no admirable wit. Ripley helps people without logic and motivation. It took me more than two hours to tell a simple story of hired murder and no twists and turns, and it made me familiar with the streets of the Federal Republic of Germany in the 1970s and the unhappy family life of framers. Such a large number of long and slow motion shots, without aesthetic sense, make people feel gloomy. Did the director of the thief come from Arabian herdsmen whose time is worth less than a grain of sand? Are you going to kill yourself for taking such a life-wasting water-injection film?
Although you are not a French film, but you have obtained the unique long and smelly formula of French film, making this french stinky foot wrap is both physical and spiritual!
The only thing I miss is the background of the Federal Republic of Germany. As a former primary school student who has heard about the extinct things such as "The Federal Republic of Germany, the GDR, the West Germany, and the Two Germanys" on the TV news, these ancient terms are so simple and vicissitudes of life. Nostalgia.
After the "Devil Ripley" was ruined, the original image of Mark Dimon was almost destroyed. After watching "The Dead in the Furious Sea", I regained my feeling. After being ruined by the show, the original image of Alain Delon was almost destroyed.
Came with great expectations for Ripley, and harvested a sullen breath. How could this guy be related to "Genius Ripley"? This is not scientific!
