a little impression

We all used to be prosperous, living a happy and laughing life, but one day we went our separate ways and returned to our respective hometowns, and there was no news. We are getting older, we live in the surface of peace, but we are deeply aware of the ugliness and injustice of society in the dark, we resist, we try to change something, but in the end we find that we can't change anything, even our lover...

Five stars for Christopherson, now I'm not just your fan anymore.

The nostalgic past, the haunting western scenery, the heartbreaking love, the men and women who resisted for survival, the soul-stirring music, it's a pity that the edited version made this film that could have been praised. The movie has endured so much infamy, if it weren't for this, Christopherson would have a place in the film industry by now.

Elevating the opposition between immigrants and aborigines into class conflicts, the strong resistance of the early pioneers to the later people also means the extinction and falsehood of the western spirit. In the face of powerful capital, the left-wing revolution completely collapsed, and the cowboy also left sadly. The huge investment brings the richest and most magnificent western images, but it is too much.

James Averill: Sure you can. Why not three? But it sure as hell isn't convenient.
