It's just to scare you, it's a little brainless, but it's really scary

In 2013, several archaeologists went to Egypt and excavated a three-sided pyramid. The history of this pyramid was earlier than that of the Pyramid of Khufu. Halfway through the excavation, due to the political turmoil, it was forbidden to continue digging.
But they were not reconciled and sent a remote camera robot into it.
Soon after the robot entered, it was destroyed.
(The point of view of this film is similar to that of a DV filming, which is an advantage in making this kind of horror adventure film, because it has a feeling of being there.)
Then they go in to retrieve the robot, and an Egyptian officer stops them from going, Through negotiation, reluctantly agreed.
Then a father and daughter, a cameraman, a male engineer, and a female producer went in.
They found the robot was ripped apart and also found what looked like a hairless cat previously seen in the footage.
They continued on, climbed up a ceiling, and found an axe that was thousands of years old. After testing, there were bloodstains on it. (About this axe, there will be no text later.)
After they went down, they got lost.
Entering a room with no exit, the floor of the room cracked. But some of them still ran to the middle, so they all fell in.
After falling, a huge stone fell, the male engineer was hit, and his entire thigh was pressed under the boulder.
The female producer climbed up the upper passage and found a horizontal passage, but inside it was the cat they had seen before, and the cat scratched her face and she fell.
A few people couldn't move, so they decided to leave him behind and continue to find a way out. In order to express consolation, I left him a lighting device such as a glow stick. (At least keeping someone by his side, so cold-blooded?)
Shortly after they went down, they heard the male engineer scream.
When the father and daughter returned, they found a large pool of bloodstains extending above the wall.
The engineer was towed away.
The officer had found them, but was dragged in by Anubis, who was chasing them out of the narrow passage, and his body was turned in the opposite direction, and he died horribly. His submachine gun was also missing. (It stands to reason that the submachine gun should be left, but no one was seen to take it later.)
Later, they experienced the quicksand trap. The daughter's head was buried, she thought she was dead, but her father somehow pulled her up again, which is quite an exaggeration.
The female producer was hit by the cameraman behind who couldn't stop the car, fell into the spike trap, and was punctured in the right abdomen.
A few people tried to lift her without common sense, but when they found that they couldn't lift her, they wanted to put her down again. The producer couldn't stand the toss, plus he was bitten by a group of cats and spit blood from his neck, and died.
Then they found a secret door, and after entering, the kobold Anubis suddenly went from behind the father, pierced his body with claws, and gouged out his heart. (The plot here is very rude and scary)
The remaining two run away. But it didn't take long to find that it was a dead end.
The male photographer felt unbearable and decided to go back and continue filming, whether he died or not. (The cameraman is the most daring, and keeps his camera calmly throughout the film.)
And then finds out that her father isn't dead. Anubis put his heart on the scales, then crushed it, and her father was instantly turned into a mummified corpse and died.
Anubis returned to the inner chamber. The two explored the execution chamber. The function of this burial chamber is not to bury the dead, but to trap the living and to sacrifice.
She found that the direction of Sirius was the exit. She found the exit.
The two climbed up from the exit.
Anubis caught them.
When the woman woke up, she was bound by Anubis. She saw the male photographer lying on the ground and called him, Anubis stomped on his head and exploded. (It's very brutal and bloody here)
Anubis digs out the woman's heart in slow motion. (I don't know why it should be treated differently. Does it want to pity Xiangxiyu? Or the director finds out that she is the last living person, and there is nothing scary to die immediately.)
At the same time, the woman took out a blade from nowhere and kept cutting the rope tied to her. Fortunately, Anubis was slow enough that she finally cut the rope and swung the knife to deliver a heavy blow.
Anubis was injured and stiffened.
She was about to run away, and the skinned cats came to her aid, beating Anubis. (Why help her?)
She took the opportunity to climb out of the deep exit.
Then, she fainted not far from the exit. (It wouldn't be scary to run out and get dizzy again, wouldn't it?)
She woke up and found a little boy beside her, and the exit of the cave was in front of her. (Everyone thought she should have survived, and the next step was to return to human society, recover from her wounds and dictate her experiences.)
But Anubis suddenly appeared and rushed towards her and the little boy. (The director said: Haha, I scare you again!) Watching it

on zx's big TV, she said that this woman should be the last survivor, and she almost guessed it right, haha.

If it wasn't for the three-haired special effects of anubis, I would have given it one star. . . The first time I watched this film, I watched it for ten minutes because it was so bad, and then I watched it again after I was really full. Every scene, every line, every step is a predictable cliché. With the selling point of Anubis, I don’t know how to sell it.

The Pyramid quotes

  • Holden: [on a video recording] This pyramid, unlike any structure other I've ever encountered, seems to have been built with the express purpose of keeping whatever is inside from escaping. If you come down here... bring guns.

  • Holden: Neither benign nor merciful
