God bless America

"Beauty and the Beast" touched me, and this one too.
My understanding is not a question of childlike innocence. Of course, childlike innocence is no problem. I also think it is a question of faith. What moved me was the power of faith. Faith makes people be good, knowing what to cherish, knowing what life is most worth following, and facing death without fear. In American movies, the funeral is always solemn and graceful. The body of the dead returns to nature, and the soul goes to the embrace of God. Most deaths do not appear to be sad, but just sad, which seems to be somewhat related to the Indians' view of life and death. Of course, I don't understand, just feel like this.
In this movie, faith even has an orgasm, no different from sex.
The United States is indeed a Puritan country. Their attitude towards God is simple and even stubborn. So there was a science fiction film in the United States that said that the United States would become a Puritan totalitarian country. The specific name was forgotten. The actor was Tom, the military master in "The Godfather." In short, Americans are not like Europeans. Europeans have a perception of God's hardship or suffering. Based on this, God not only cannot save them, but sometimes tortures them. Americans seem to be based on unwavering faith in God. Therefore, God can only bless America.

The Polar Express quotes

  • [repeated line]

    The Boy: I believe.

  • Hobo: What exactly is... is your persuasion on the Big Man, since you brought him up?

The Boy: Well, I... I want to believe... but...

Hobo: But you don't want to be bamboozled. You don't want to be led down the primrose path! You don't want to be conned or duped. Have the wool pulled over your eyes. Hoodwinked! You don't want to be taken for a ride. Railroaded!

[Hobo puts out fire with the joe]

Hobo: Seeing is believing. Am I right?
