The tone of the film is a classic British color: dark gray, always cold.
Describes a group of PDS (partially deceased sufferers) - cannibals who used to be inhuman, but were rescued after resurrection and restored their human nature, but implied animal nature. What does such a group of people look like, how can they return to society, and how can they be accepted by society? what are they? Who are they?
And what kind of cruel humanity does the so-called normal human beings on the opposite side of these PDS have in this special period?
Ethnicity is always a subject, and Lennon imagines that the whole world is one, which is simply difficult to achieve. What ethnic group are you and which side are you on?
In the first season, there was no ethnic group, and it was all abruptly lonely.
Kieren is the protagonist of the show, thin and slender, with innocent eyes. The side effects caused by the drug, recalling the last murder scene, and the restored humanity made him tortured by this experience. At the same time, "coming home", how his family and community will accept him, is full of doubts and fears.
On the other side, Kieren's home and community, "normal people", want to accept these former murderers back to their side? How to face it?
The first season has more contradictions and conflicts, which is very attractive. The return of Kieren is in opposition to his sister as a human volunteer army; Bill, as the leader of the human volunteer army, pulled the trigger in front of many people (including Kieren) and at the request of PDS, and killed the PDS who was found to have returned; After this, Bill learns that his son Rick is back, the funny thing is that Rick is a PDS....
Everyone has their own beliefs, and this belief sometimes brings madness (eg Bill killed his own son) . This is even more evident in the second season.
The interlude of the film can bring people into the country.
With such a return, my role in society is that of a murderer? patient? who am I? Where am I going?
Unacceptable, ununderstood, disguised, the positioning of this existence, as well as the contradiction, is what I hope to see in this play.
The love story in the first season is very touching.
