Put forward a hypothesis, derive a series of questions around this hypothesis, and then reflect life and human nature from these questions. This TV series follows this model. Don't bother to ask for reasons, explanations, passion, etc. The screenwriter doesn't care about this at all, and those who care about it will definitely think that this show is an unfinished garbage show, but ignore what is really worth appreciating. The first seven episodes are well done and very exciting. The pictures and lens descriptions are not aimless, nor are they obscure and indifferent. It is a rare good drama above the average level in recent years. It is not a waste of time. Recommended.
However, the selection of the location of the first episode is really a mistake, that is, stupid and ignorant and there is no follow-up effect at all (the dimension is very far-fetched), which almost makes people miss such a good drama. Also, am I the only one who thinks that the lady who was accidentally killed (and resurrected) looks like a younger version of the Phoenix girl in X-men? Hope it's not as unlucky as the Phoenix Girl... Also, does Hemlock have a second season?
