Catherine was born in 1962. In 1979, Catherine's parents were killed by a yacht explosion, and she became the heir to a huge fortune. In the same year, Catherine and Beth were freshmen in Berkley. Beth became obsessed with Catherine, dyed her brown hair to blonde, and imitated Catherine's dress. The two had a relationship. Catherine is bisexual, and she has a relationship with a psychology professor while maintaining a homosexual relationship with Beth. Beth was extremely dissatisfied. In 1980, she designed to lure a psychology professor and stabbed him to death with an ice cone on the bed. Catherine vaguely guessed that Beth did it, and broke off with him. Beth still entangled with him, causing Catherine to report to Berkley campus police.

Beth worked in Salinas Hospital after graduation and married a doctor in the hospital. In 1986, the two sides quarreled over her homosexuality, and she shot her husband to death with a gun while walking home. Later, she transferred to the San Francisco Police Department, and at the same time opened a psychology clinic with another psychologist, who later became Johnny Buzz's psychologist.

After graduation, Catherine married the middleweight champion in 1984. The champion died in a match in 1985 and she became a widow. In the six years from 1979 to 1985, she experienced the deaths of parents, mentor, and husband. Her humanity turned dark and became more and more evil. She began to write about murder. She published her first book in 1988, a book about how a little boy killed his parents without being discovered. In 1991, she planned to write a book about the murder of a rock singer, and deliberately met Johnny Buzz, and she has always maintained a sexual relationship.

Beth has been collecting news about Catherine. When she learned that Catherine's boyfriend was Johnny Buzz, and Johnny Buzz was the patient of her partner, her mind began to plan to kill Johnny Buzz. At a Christmas party held in her partner's house in 1991, she deliberately met Johnny Buzz and had a relationship afterwards. When Catherine learned that Johnny Buzz’s new girlfriend was Beth, she realized that it was not accidental, but that Beth wanted to kill Johnny Buzz. Catherine has no intention of leaving Johnny Buzz to protect him. Instead, she continues to have sex with Johnny Buzz, stimulating Beth, and promoting the murder. On the other hand, she hired Nelson, the head of the San Francisco Police Department’s Discipline Team, to thoroughly investigate Beth in order to accumulate writing materials. So she had the plot that Nelson took away Catherine’s police file that reported Beth in her freshman year, and Nelson asked the manager of Beth’s husband to be arrested. The plot of the police who killed the case. The murder of Johnny Bartz did not happen as quickly as Catherine imagined, but it is not important anymore. In 1992 Catherine completed her second book based on her own imagination, about a rock singer being used in bed. The book that Bingcone stabbed to death. This book is Catherine's prediction of Johnny Buzz's death.

In 1992, Nelson told Catherine that Beth had a new boyfriend Nick. Nick was a detective who was observed by the Feng discipline group for killing two people with fire. Catherine was very interested in the combination of the two murderers, so she bought Nick's psychological files from Nelson for $50,000, and collected Nick's relevant reports to accumulate writing materials.

Then is the content shown at the beginning of the film: Because Catherine has always had a sexual relationship with Johnny Buzz, Catherine's Belle Ribbon and a golden wig stabbed Johnny Buzz to death with an ice cone on the bed. The death of Johnny Buzz was something Catherine had anticipated and manipulated deliberately. But the future plot is not Catherine's original plan. Regarding the combination of Beth and Nick, Catherine initially only intended to observe and record as a bystander, but Nick's handling of the Johnny Buzz case gave Catherine the opportunity to become a manipulator from a bystander. Catherine deliberately told Nick what was only in his psychological file, so Nick asked Beth to leak his psychological file. Beth shot him because of Nelson's dishonesty; after Nelson died, Beth waited for the opportunity to enter Nelson's office to find Nick’s original file. She accidentally discovered the police file that Catherine had reported in Berkley. She took this file away and destroyed it; Catherine deliberately told Nick that Beth was obsessed with herself when she was in Berkley. Nick questioned Beth, and Beth falsely accused Catherine. Obsessed with her. Nick's investigation found that: 1. Beth did dye her brown hair to blonde when she was in college; 2. Catherine did report Beth to campus police during her freshman year. Nick therefore believes that Johnny Buzz was killed by Beth in order to frame Catherine. But his partner Gus determined that the murderer was Catherine, so he called Catherine's classmates in Berkley to investigate the relationship between Catherine and Beth during school. This caused Beth's panic and decided to kill Gus. She changed her voice to pretend that she was Catherine's freshman roommate, asked Gus out and killed. But what surprised Beth was Nick's subsequent appearance. Beth was shot and killed by Nick because he put his hand in the pocket of his coat and was mistaken for taking a gun.

Catherine is a manipulator throughout the film: she manipulates the death of Johnny Buzz; she manipulates the death of Nelson; she manipulates Nick and Beth to fight each other. Although she did not commit a crime, her hands were covered with blood. When she was in Berkley, Beth broke off diplomatic relations with Beth for allegedly killing the psychology professor. It shows that she was not human at that time. The turning point in her life was probably the death of her husband. Since the death of her husband, she has become an evil person. People who take pleasure in the pain of others.

The queen's charm is as terrible as a flood, she looks like Wang Zuxian + Theron divided by 2... The man is too mediocre to deserve it.

(8/10) The way between a woman's legs is heaven. Sex is power and control. Sex and Violence by Paul Verhoeven. There's also a bit of Hitchcock's shadow, haha.
