They know the end is nigh, but there's nothing they can do about it, so it drives them nuts, and they live their lives with one eye on the clock. — We don't have to do that. We can smash the clock to pieces. That is an incredible blessing. "God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, for when they shall arise from the dead, they are as angels which are in heaven."

The male protagonist is very cute. The end of the third episode is very moving. Rick died so tragically. He was killed by his own father, so he was really happy after his father was served by the enemy with a shotgun. The two remarks of his parents were very tearful.
