Applauded commercial film, but disappointing whitewashing film

Dre's whitewashing film, the facts that have been erased and distorted are a little hard for me to accept. In fact, people who really follow NWA in the United States agree that Eazy E is the real Gangsta. Dre and Cube are indeed talented in arranging and writing lyrics, but they can really bring this group out of the chaotic era with a real fking G attitude. Only Eazy E is alone.

Because the movie took a lot of pen and ink on Eazy, I was barely able to accept it in the first part, and when the group broke in the latter part, Dre's various facts and whitewashes began to be distorted. The contradiction between Cube and Eazy is strengthened in the film, including the first break of Cube and the public Diss are described, but those who are really familiar with this history know that the biggest contradiction actually occurred between Eazy and Dre.

When Dre decided to leave, he still had a six-year contract with Rutheless. After leaving, contract disputes with Eazy continued. In the film, the plot of using a baseball bat to force the Eazy release contract did happen, but in the film it was all pushed to Suge Knight. In fact, everyone knows that Dre is also one of the masterminds. In addition, the blatant diss between Dre and Eazy is also much bigger. In Dre Day, Dre and Snoopy Dogg attacked Eazy variously. Afterwards, Eazy responded with Real Mother Fuckin G's. In fact, listening to these two songs, you will know that the sentence is high. It was the one who crushed Dre. After all, Eazy is the only one in NWA who can be regarded as a gangster. Eazy even openly laughed at Dre and Snoop as Studio Gangstas in an interview, which means that the recording room was pretending to be ridiculous, but it was actually a Real life pussy, Dre has no confidence to respond to this kind of ridicule. And the contract dispute mentioned earlier led to the most famous sentence in Eazy's diss, "Dre Day only meant Eazy's payday". This is because Dre is limited by contract, and every song and production will be divided into Eazy. In other words, when Dre wrote diss Eazy's song, he still had to give Eazy a rake.

Another point that makes me more difficult to accept is the description of Eazy's situation after the group disbanded. In the movie, the careers of Dre and Cube began to take off, and Eazy was impoverished, and finally found the two to get back together like desperately desperately. Then Dre and Cube were lyrical and whitewashed regardless of the previous suspicions. But what about the facts? After the NWA was disbanded, Eazy still held the top combination at the time like bone thugs n harmony, including the Dre contract. It can be said that he was still a successful businessman in the later period. The movie described in the phone call with Dre for cooperation is even more nonsense. The conflict between the two who cannot be reconciled cannot have this plot. In an interview with Dre, the reporter asked about the plot. Dre also evasively lied, and finally lied that he had a call with Eazy. After searching for that video, you can see Dre's obvious panic when he lied and a bunch of people under youtube comment. Brushing lair, to be honest, it makes me very disappointed with Dre.

In short, this is a successful commercial film that can quickly attract people who are interested in the origins of gang rap, and even start to become obsessed with these old school hardcore lyrics after watching it. But for those who really understand this history, for the participants in this history, and more importantly for Eazy E, I don't see enough respect.

  • [Eric is upset that Jerry had embezzled money from him]

Eazy-E: Here's what's about to happen. I'm gonna get N.W.A back together. And you ain't gonna have nothing to do with it this time.

Jerry Heller: Why the fuck can you even say something like that? What the fuck is going on with you, man? I know what's good for you, I know what's good for Ruthless, and we have worked up a trust after years of hard work and that trust is our foundation, Eric. I don't give a shit.

    [Eric is coughing]

Jerry Heller: [concerned] Eric? How is it man? Are you okay?

Eazy-E: Trust? Trust is a muthafucka!

Jerry Heller: Is it? May I ask you something? Eric, If what I'm doing is so illegal, how come I've never been sued? If I'm such a fucking thief, such a liar, such a motherfucker, how come nobody's ever come to collect? Because this is business. And this is how it works. And it's not always pretty, no. Do I cover my own ass? Do I cover my own end? Absolutely. But don't you dare fucking tell me that I have not taken care of you. Don't you fucking tell me that I've not had your back from day one! DAY ONE!

Eazy-E: Is this taking care of me?

Jerry Heller: Are you fucking kidding me? It's taking care of the whole fucking thing! It's business!

    [repeating what he said earlier]

Jerry Heller: And this is how it works. Have I covered my end? Do I cover my ass? Absolutely. But don't you dare fucking tell me that I have not taken care of you.

    Eazy-E: Is this business too?

Jerry Heller: Yes, this is business, this is how fucked up it can get. But I didn't start this! I didn't fuck it up! You did!

Eazy-E: No, you did. You're fired, Jerry.

    [Eric leaves Jerry's house]

  • [Eazy is in a hospital after collapsing in a recording session]

Tomica: Aren't you gonna say something? What is it? A respiratory infection, pneumonia, what?

Young Doctor: Yes, well, it is those things and more, I'm afraid. We ran a full blood battery and... I'm sorry, Mr. Wright, but you've tested positive for HIV.

Eazy-E: Get the fuck outta here.

    Tomica: What?

Young Doctor: The normal T-cell count is anywhere between 500 and 1500. Right now, your T-cell count is 14.

    Eazy-E: But I ain't no faggot.

Young Doctor: No, Mr. Wright, actually the virus can be transmitted in quite a few ways, including unprotected heterosexual sex.

Eazy-E: That's wrong. You... you gotta test that again. Test that again.

Young Doctor: We've run the test five times, with five different samples, and the results remain.

    Tomica: Shit!

[Tomica storms out of the room]

Eazy-E: She's pregnant, Doc! What does this mean?

Young Doctor: It doesn't necessarily mean that she's contracted the virus, but... we'll have to test her, to be sure.

Eazy-E: So what do we do? When do we start the the treatment? I mean, what... I gotta get healthy, I got things to do. I got... What's we supposed to do?

Young Doctor: Mr. Wright, you need to understand that you are very, very sick.

Eazy-E: But I don't even feel that bad Doc, don't tell me that.

Young Doctor: With care, and palliative care, we can probably keep you comfortable for... maybe six months, at the very most.

[by this time, Eazy is in a deep panic and is beginning to cry]

Eazy-E: Comfortable? What do you mean comfortable?

Young Doctor: It's just a matter of time. I am, I am truly, truly sorry, Mr. Wright. I'll leave you time to process this.

[the doctor leaves the room, leaving Eazy helpless as he cries]
